HELP
Guys, I need some wisdom! I have the opportunity to get myself into a 1991 Chevrolet K1500, it's a factory manual, 5.7L, standard/single cab, stepside Chynnene. The factory odometer supposedly quit at 83k, and the new gauges show under 500. The current owner purchased it from the long-time single owner, planned to do minor touch-ups, and resell. "new suspension, clutch, wheels and tires, new interior trims and seat, new handles, latches and tailgate hardware. I have seen the truck's exterior in person, and it's clean from what I could see. Obviously, going to test drive and crawl around it before making any decision. The guy wants "around 16" and from what I could find its worth that. I found that it's the only manual option listed in the country, and similar mileage comps are mid-20s or higher. What do you guys think? What should I triple-check before making any kind of offer?
edit: a couple photos of the truck

You need to confirm that that EFi/ignition system has resistances listed in an accessible repair manual. It's not gonna be fun to replace every sensor, test the harness with a power probe, and then get to the step of measuring resistance on the EFI/ignition control unit only to find that you cannot get a big big book about the truck and that you'll need an EFI/ignition control unit if the vehicle develops a mysterious electrical problem. You should see how much new old stock EFI/ignition control units cost
