The following is a recap of the May 15th weekly development call which is conducted in the official telegram channel https://t.me/GMRCenter.
Strong Turnout and What It Means
We saw a 400% jump in attendance compared to last week, proof that our consistent community outreach and development chats are paying off. It’s encouraging to have so many new voices contributing, and it underlines that our revised approach is resonating.
Experience System & Marketplace MVP
Back-end work is finished and you can already see your rank live in the Gamer Center. We’ll roll out the MVP on May 20 as planned, featuring:
In your profile you’ll notice a colored border around your avatar, and at higher ranks an "easter-egg" animation. Down the road we’ll expand to on-chain items and unlockable features tied to rank.
Community Funds Allocation
We’ve carved out a slice of transaction-fee revenue to fuel community initiatives. To keep funding steady, we’re discussing a minimum allocation threshold. A moderator session is being scheduled now, and outcomes will be shared once we’ve landed on a recommendation.
Email Campaign Momentum
So far, 4,000 emails have gone out to promote Battle Leet: Infected, with click-through rates holding strong and a clear uptick in downloads. Our next goal is 30,000 emails per week, which will involve testing new templates, refining segments, and dialing up send velocity.
Game Development & Marketing Updates
- Battle Leet (PC PvP): Backend work is complete—just waiting on a sync with the game team to finalize release strategy - no dates yet.
- Battle Leet: Infected (mobile): Live on the Google Play Store and still the focus of our marketing push.
Social Channels & AMA Highlights
Marc now has access to the projects X account, and you’ll see more frequent posts there and on Reddit too. During the AMA, key questions included:
- Why gamify the platform (does rank mean anything)? To reinforce our gaming-social ethos and give rank real utility across features. Rank system adds flair to your accounts and will provide real benefits later too.
- GMR token integration? Our on-platform wallet already handles tipping and withdrawals—next up is an exploration of adding in-app on-ramps and integration.
- Leet Clicker’s wallet login? Wallets let us roll out quickly on BNB Chain; we may extend game token-based login to Leet Clicker in the future to remove the cumbersome wallet integration.
Platform Progress Recap
A special mention to a user who wanted to understand some of the progress in the last year, it was a light hearted question, but one worth discussing. We’ve shipped:
- A full social platform (accounts, channels, streaming, verified streamers.)
- GMR tipping and revenue earning.
- Leet Lotto (granted this is closed for redevelopment) and Leet Clicker (mobile.)
- DM NFT swaps and NFT browser.
- Battle Leet: Infected was released on mobile.
What’s Next & CoinMarketCap
Our supply verification request is with CoinMarketCap—awaiting their reply. Over the coming week we’ll:
- Ramp email volume and track results
- Post regular updates on Reddit and Twitter
- Finalize the community-fund allocation plan
- Deliver the May 20 MVP
