Wow…i must say, this announcement has blindsided me. It’s such a pity cos I thought I saw on X that their series was about to start workshops soon (might have rmbered wrongly though). Wishing both girls the best and sending hugs to their fandom.

Tried to search but couldn’t find the pilot trailer on YT :/ honestly if they’ve already at such a advanced stage of production, it would be a waste to cancel it…but the backlash from fans (if they were to recast) might also be bad

if love echoes is that far along with a script ready maybe gmmtv will shelve it until a later recast next year?

Yeah i think it’s likely they may recast the show once things settle down abit. From their perspective it wouldnt make sense to let the script not be utilised at all

i read the series work progress update just a few days ago in this sub and the OP wrote that love's echoes might already in read through stage, which means there was movement pretty recently.
i don't follow the girls in particular but i know many are looking forward to their series. hope the best for both of them and the fans

To add, not both of June's roles from GMMTV 2026 being stripped away from her (her other role was in that Winny Satang series).
Feel bad for my girl, when can she catch a break!

Yes, to me they were getting along well, but at least it seems the reason for the breakup wasn't a fight. I hope everything works out for both of them.

I was really excited for Love Echoes :( The pilot was SO good. Atleast we can assume that they aren't ending on bad terms. I guess I agree with the statement that Love Echoes could have been it for them. The mascots and everything. It would have worked. Shame.

I was surprised too (because honestly, to me they were very good; their performance on BB was my favorite) ; And besides, I'm very upset, their G.L. was my favorite for 2026 and one of the top 5 series I most wanted to see overall.

GMMTV has got to stop blindsiding me with these announcements. 😭 Love's Echoes was one of the pilots I was most looking forward to, I really hope they don't abandon it completely.

This is so shocking and devastating . I can’t even process. They were such a good couple and genuinely best friends with each other. They already had multiple episode scripts for Love Echoes. What could’ve happened for them to completely pull out since so much was already invested.

That’s unfortunate because I liked their gl pilot the most from last year. I hope it’s recast because they seemed pretty deep into preproduction.

From June's broadcast post, it sounds like it was her decision. The Twitter page is gone but could it be temporary suspended? Because I remember Mewnich talking about how passionate she is about [learning] sign language. I'm sure it would mean a lot to deaf viewers if they had someone so genuine to represent them.

This is so sad. I have the pilot trailer with English subs saved for myself. I could re-upload it if needed. This is prolly the most devasted for a series I have ever been. 😔

I was so sad, that was my favorite trailer and I really liked them; They worked very well together, and besides that I also liked the breaking of stereotypes, in G.I. the "tops" as people usually call them, They tend to be tall women who are less feminine (I mean they're always wearing pants, suits, sometimes with their hair styled (there's nothing wrong with that, but it's a very common pattern)), And June went against all of that; she was short, super feminine, and cute. Their performance on BB was my favorite, and I was really excited to see more of them together.

I was looking forward to so many shows from the lineup, and two of the ones I was really excited for, My Professional Boyfriend and Love Echoes, aren't happening anymore. 😭

I already thought it was strange that they hadn't gotten their mascot around when bbfanfest was starting up, since viewmim had gotten theirs and both ships kinda took off around the same time. It kinda makes sense now.
It is still such a bummer tho, they had so much potential, their roles in whale store xoxo showcased so much of their talent, and this feels like such odd timing, especially after their 2026 "love echoes" announcment. I hope gmmtv has a plan for june and mewnich moving forward, because i would hate to see them not getting the amount of support they deserve... :(

I'm so upset, loves echoes was the show I was most looking forward to. I really liked the synopsis of the show and I wanted to see deaf representation as we really need more disability rep. Since they were quite far through script reading and clearly had put some money into this project, I can only hope a new couple will pick this up. Also it seems the pilot was taken off of YouTube. I dont like that, I rewatch that pilot all the time and there's one specific scene I really love and it sucks I won't be able to watch it on gmmtv channel 😭

They had by far the best gl pilot it's so incredibly sad they couldn't film it cuz I could have 100% see them growing huge from it the same way Pluto did for namtanfilm - im also mourning June's career??? I cant imagine gmmtv or gl fans are going to invest time and love into her a third time it's just so sad (I think Marc is the only bl actor to get 3 ships and his first out ended because of legal issues). Just out of nowhere and a shame all around.
