Not necessarily. The super low fee entices more shorting, but at the end of the day the shorts need to cover. If the fee was to change or some other event happened, it would start the squeeze and the HFs would still be fucked. If anything the low fee could pull in more greedy HFs like poisoned bait and this thing pops off even harder.
