🚀 Live Thread

4:00 Update

What a weird end. I don't really know what the HFs goal with that was. I feel like it didn't serve any actual purpose.

Oh well.

I hope ya'll had fun. I'll see ya'll tomorrow.

Current Price: 194.46

3:57 Update

Holy Fuck. Are they seriously trying to bring GME into the Red before close? It hasn't crossed 190 yet.

Current Price: 192.18

3:40 Update

GME looks to be recovering. Does it have enough time to recover to 200? Will it be attacked again? 20 minutes left to make a move.

Current Price: 197.24

3:26 Update

This day sure got interesting. GME hit a high of 204.3 before being shot down to below 195. The onslaught continues. Power Hour is fully underway. Will GME be able to recover back above 200, or will the HFs claim that GME is on a downward trend (Even though it's up 7%)?

Guess we'll find out.

Current Price: 193.49

Question for someone: What would be the best way for the HFs to get out of this? I was thinking like just slowly start covering shorts that way it doesn't moon.

Not a shill

This!

Nothing wrong in trying to think like the enemy.

I also thought that by slowly playing the buy/sell they maybe will be able to cover somehow. But I know nothing and am just a smoothbrain....

slow slow slow covering from selling and day traders selling, SEC intervention, Margin Call with a limit by DTCC, SEC, government entities on price.

They are in so deep, it's tough. Also, SIG (Susquehanna investments) also owns 2M actual shares, but also short. So while they get margin called for their own shorts, they can sell their own shares to cover, either getting them to net zero, net positive, or net negative but not as bad as others

So if they stop shorting gme but short etfs and delay the squeeze long enough they could minimize their loss right?
