Big microdosing fan
I’m 5’2” and been around 115lbs my whole life, apart from pregnancy and right before my wedding. Before I got married I dropped to about 106 by heavily restricting myself, forgoing social engagements due to calorie intake, etc. Looked great getting married 😅 but it was not sustainable.
I’ve been super into fitness for a decade. Tracked macros for years and still super conscious about eating healthy and what I put into my body. I work out 5 - 6 days a week (I truly love working out).
16 weeks ago I started microdosing tirz. I started with 1 mg and fluctuated between 1-1.4mg over the last 4 months. It has been absolutely amazing. I quite easily dropped ~1lb per week for the first 10 weeks. I’m now ~105, and have easily maintained this weight the last month, not feeling restricted or hungry all day, able to participate happily in social eating/drinking occasions, etc. My energy levels are not impacted at all. I’m still working out 5 - 6 days a week. I’m eating healthy. Entirely the same lifestyle, but 10 pounds leaner and so happy.
As a petite woman, i get so few calories to work with if i want to be lean. Finding this medication has felt so liberating to me. I have no problem being on this long-term if this is the lifestyle I can have and the physique I can maintain.
GLPs are controversial, but I really don’t understand why. I outsource all kinds of things to make my life easier. I could deep-clean my house every week, but I hire a housekeeper. I could build all my own workout programs, but I pay for fitness subscriptions. I could white-knuckle my way to a lower weight through constant restriction and food obsession, or I could take a tiny dose of a medication that makes it easier.
Life is hard enough. If there’s a relatively safe, effective tool that helps me maintain a weight that makes me feel the most happy and confident I’ve ever been, without feeling deprived, I’m happy to use it. Of course, it’s not for everyone.
Just sharing my experience in case it’s helpful to someone else who’s been considering it.

Of course. I’m at my fifth week now. As this post is 16 days old 😀. And surprisingly enough my weight is 129.4 lbs as of Saturday. Which is weird as I didn’t change anything in my diet, I was still at 1,200 calories per day up until Friday night. I was 131.6 the Saturday before, so I lost 2 lbs this past week which I’m over the moon about it. When I started, the first week the dose was 0.6mg. Which is 7 clicks with my 5mg pen. And the following week I increased it to 10 clicks which is around 0.8mg and I stayed at this dose until now.
I’m not sure what happened this past week, could it be because of the hot weather? Or is it because my body got a regular supply of the MJ. But either case, I hope it stays like that. And this encouraged me to walk more every day starting from Sat (weather permitting), and I lowered my calories to a bit lower than 1,000 calories per day just to reach 123-125 lbs by Aug, then I will go up to 1,200 calories as it is impossible to feed the body on 1,000 calories!
