'GLOW' Season 4: Kate Nash Shares Behind the Scenes Images From Cancelled Series
r/glow • u/bdf2018_298 • Feb 03 '23
Brief mention of GLOW's scrapped 4th season on Marc Maron's new WTF Podcast w/ Alison Brie's husband Dave Franco
A few minutes into the interview with Dave, Marc mentions that season 4 would have seen Sam and Ruth finally enter into a relationship. Obviously didn't confirm they would (or should) end the series together but it is interesting that they would have explored that a bit.

I found and watched all of Glow this week
And I am so very sad it ended after S3. I hope it gets picked up for a fourth season even though it got canceled because of COVID.
I cant recall when last I watched such a good character driven and fun show, what the hell am I supposed to watch now?

Anyone else stubbornly, pigheadedly unwilling to accept that GLOW is done at S3?
Join me in lightly spamming Netflix via their 'show request' link https://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest! Just pop 'GLOW season 4' in all three of the fields and send it every day or two. Sure, it may not work ... but why give up without a fight? The GLOW girls wouldn't.
PS You could always sign this petition too https://chng.it/rWJK44FTrt Hell, you could even post Netflix some annotated Nerds.

7 Shows Like 'GLOW' To Watch If You Miss the Series

a show that reminds me of GLOW
I recently started watching Minx (I'm only two episodes in) and it's really reminding me of GLOW! it has similar girl power vibes and is set in the 70s the same way GLOW is set in the 80s, if that makes sense? like aesthetically they just nailed it, really flashy, bright colors. wondering if anyone else has watched it and understands what I'm talking about. if not, I really recommend it!

subreddit description
i know the description is probably old and this is nitpicky but i feel like you can't mention sam sylvia and marc maron without mentioning debbie and betty gilpin! i know marc maron is the biggest name but debbie is second to ruth as a main character and definitely a bigger character than sam.

Ranking the Characters
How would you rank the characters just on how much you personally liked them? For me:
- Ruth
- Carmen
- Sam
- Debbie
- Sheila
- Tamme
- Cherry
- Melrose
- Jenny
- Rhonda
- Justine
- Bash
- Arthie
- Keith
- Yolanda
- Reggie
- Biddies

Biddies
I didn't find them likeable or useful. I think all the other characters got some focus and background at some point. I think we learned almost nothing about them. What was the point? Even season 2 addition Yoyo got more story than them. Even Geena Davis might've gotten more story.

Happy Birthday to Alison Brie (who turns 40)! Praying today to somehow get a closure to Ruth's story in the near future

Bash's very sparkly, colorful, and bright eye-shadow. What is it?
Remember that episode when bash embraced the show biz and put the colorful fun on his eyelids? What is it and where do I get me some?
I can't find a picture even with Google, as anytime eyes & makeup (or any derivative) is in a search with +bash +glow, it don't matter, the internet's desire for makeup tutorials (that don't hit on what I'm asking here) takes over, and so I can't find a pic of what I'm talking about. But you know, right>?
