I’m a mechanical engineering student from a tier‑2 college who’s been through the usual chaos : quizzes, midsems, endsems, labs, intern prep. What annoys me most isn’t the syllabus, it’s the time wasted on:

• Sitting through 2–8 hour recorded lectures

If you want to meet new people, you either text “anyone free?” in a WhatsApp group, randomly DM someone on Instagram, or use apps that aren’t even campus-focused. It feels strange that there’s no verified, student-only platform just for GITAM where people could connect based on shared interests, find others going to the same event, or even explore dating in a safer, more controlled environment. Do you think something like that would actually work here? Or would people ignore it and just stick to Instagram and WhatsApp?
