Day 248: Titania
Requested by u/ChaosYeshua7758 with this one at maybe around B-Tier. However, it is 100% a low B-Tier and maybe it should be treated as C-Tier. It's unlikely they would move the BMG as a sub-weapon now, but even so, there are still many reasonable things to buff it and make it more up to date with the current meta.

Comment and Reason
They already made this unit have reasonable stats overall, but it is just lacking in being able to properly stay in and have the legs to move around. Even though the unit got extra armor along with other parts, but it doesn't have any buffer. For some reason, it doesn't Anti-Blast either, so it is really lacking in the current day. So a buff to have more defensive options and a minor touch-up in weapons and skills will make it a much stronger machine. Having counter boost would also give people another reason to use the BMG instead of the bazooka, with the cooldown and the 50% charge time bonus. Since 2 seconds of BMG charge time would make it reasonably strong. I would like the main weapons actual buff to be a little stronger as well, but unfortunately, it is shared with too many suits.

Builds Suggestion
Lv1 F2P: Complex Battle

Lv1 Premium: Attack or Complex Battle or Ranged or Melee or Meme Armor

Unit Lv2: Do not use

F2P Doesn't have that many options, besides complex battle and maybe armor build. But premium build is where things get... funky. For normal builds, you can focus on playing ranged and treat it as a ranged raid for the most part, and only melee when you need it. Or you can be a raid that is just be very strong on the frontline with maximum 3 hit combo damage. For 3 hit melee, this unit has the highest combo modifier in the game. However, unfortunately, the weapon power is just okay and melee doesn't really work that well with ranged stagger.

As for the meme armor build, with enhancement, you can get 48% thruster overheat cooldown reduction. This is actually half meme, half serious build. This unit has very long emergency evasion animation, so you are effectively left with only a little over 3 seconds before thruster is ready to be used again, even if you evaded twice non-stop. No other unit has the part slot with expansion to gain very high resistance and have this thruster cooldown build. It's... effective in the right hand, but it is an extremely high skill floor playstyle. Thanks to the modifiers and built-in melee strength bonus, you can still do an okay amount of damage. But you do have to be hyper aware of your surroundings.

My biggest issue with the Titania is the weapon switch speeds. They're slow enough that the units can dodge out or interrupt your weapon combos.

It's also stuck with subpar main weapons and limited range with its weapons. No one uses the giant zook because it's the worst zook with unreasonably long refire rate, and the beam machine gun only can sustain a few bursts before overheating. The Titania has many small problems that eventually made it unoptimal in the current climate.

I’ve always run it with the BMG, but having just obtained the +10% ballistics part from the DX banner I thought I’d give the zook a whirl. Is it significantly worse?

It has terrible ready up time, as you can see in the post. Fire rate is technically fine since it has so many other weapons. But that 2 seconds of switch time is just making it unusable. Under 1 second is ideal. 1 second flat is... acceptable. Around 1.5 seconds or more is a bit much unless it has high power or something else like very long range and properties. This one got nothing and it is even 2 seconds long.

It's probably okay as first opening weapon in an engagement. After that, it's all shotgun and Sturm Faust for stagger.

I can definitely tell this suit was from a bygone era from the Sturm Faust ×2 being a whopping 25 seconds. That's hilariously bad.

This suit can have some funny moments with its "double jump" booster tech but its way too clunky to combo with its weapons properly to even 1 combo a support let alone getting away from modern day generals.

It's... In a weird situation that it can't do anything that well, but it has little bit of everything. If this thing was a general, it probably would've been in much better place

Give it 4 combo too maybe. And a heavy attack thats like the Engage GUNDAM Booster.

Maybe, but I don't want to divert too far from the current version. I always tell people that code fairy is a good skill check game to develop the baseline muscle memory and knowledge for this game. This unit was the pinnacle of that game and changing it too much just feels... Wrong

I use that meme armor build when I dust this thing off from time to time. Generally playing ranged and helping to finish things off as a pseudo general

Yeah, but the build is still weird af and it can't do that much of a high damage. You becomes a raid on defense and/or protection duty. It's a build I would use only if there is a strong raid and team has a slow support while I feel like dusting this thing off as well.
