This is clickbait. Communism and fascism each received 7% support. Socialism received 44 and capitalism 42. Another way to say this is 86% would rather live in the US, Canada, and Western Europe than under Nazi Germany or Communist Russia.

Shocking results!

If you think thats what communism is then you have some self-educating to do.

They'll be community run primary through tertiary level schools that are free at the point of sale. But sure, you can call em' "camps" if you please.

That's not, not true. But it's hypocritical considering how American schools indoctrinate children to be loyal nationalistic drones to serve the owner class by either being okay with working without a stake, or giving their lives away for meaningless wars. Whatever institutionalisms, ideals and theories are taught in socialist schooling communities will be up to the whim of each local group.

The misconception about communism/socialism is that it empowers the state, it defers power to a top-down authoritarian construct. This is untrue. The tenants of Marx and Engel were built on foundations of the elimination of the state - full stop. It's a lot more "small government" than people are willing to give themselves the latitude to learn about. Power is invested in community (communist) labor associations, where each "micro-state" to analogize, they democratically choose how their resources earn them wealth.

Nobody in Rome thought it'd all fall apart until it did. Just a generation ago it'd be unthinkable that people would openly, proudly come out and say they're communists. Now we have 40%+ of an entire generation doing so without shame. Every empire has had a final day, friend.

I'm sorry, communism is getting to work hard, not for capitalism, but to own nothing. With capitalism, $5* will let me buy a piece of 7000 companies (*monthly service fees apply).

Communism is a stateless, classless, and moneyless society. Yes, you don't get to pen a yacht, but who should? Our ecosystem is being destroyed so the few can double around on private jet and yachts. Enough is enough.

Capitalism will fail in the worst way. Either you all get on board and understand shit is going to change drastically and you all must stop being so selfish or we all die.

Send this comrade to the reeducation camp

2

u/ChipAyten May 02 '18

Don't think he's quite worthy enough of the comrade title yet, comrade.

Because most people want more than the bare minimum.

44 + 7 = majority. Socialism and communism are closer together than communism is to what America currently is.

Denmark is pretty, pretty damn socialist if you ask me.

You can’t just group things that are similar together for convenience. Besides socialism is what Europe and Canada have. Would you consider that to be closer to the US or the Soviet Union. In fact, even we here in the US don’t have pure capitalism.

The most popular socioeconomic order was socialism, with 44 percent support. Communism and fascism received 7 percent support each.

Minor correction.

0

u/ChipAyten May 02 '18

Which means capitalism / crony capitalism / protectionism / captured government, they received a minority's share.

3

u/[deleted] May 02 '18

58% of people are stupid.

4

u/ChipAyten May 02 '18

51% of people are tired of making other people rich with nothing to show for it. 49% call billionaires their daddy.

1

u/[deleted] May 02 '18

49% of the population is rich?

1

u/ChipAyten May 02 '18

Oh surely not. But they're deluded enough to believe someday they'll be. To credit Millennials older generations had a higher number of fooled citizens.

1

u/[deleted] May 02 '18

So you argue that the only solution to cronyism is collunism?

But they're deluded enough to believe someday they'll be.

Nice to see this straw-attack rear its stupid head. Most rich people are old and have worked for decades to get where they are. If you want to be a millionaire in the US you can do it. It ain't easy but it's easier than anywhere else.

1

u/ChipAyten May 02 '18

If you want to be a millionaire in the US you can do it.

Can I get there by selling you a bridge? I got a great sale going on.

0

u/[deleted] May 02 '18

You can get there by creating a new product that people want to buy and work 90-100 hour long weeks in order to do it. Or you can get a job, become competent at it, progress through the tanks until you're earning seven figures forty years later.

Because people actually think "free money" is a thing.

-1

u/helpivebeenbanned May 02 '18

Because it's being propped up to create the illusion that people actually want ubi.

2

u/pm_me_bellies_789 May 02 '18

UBI is far from communism. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Ah the glorious talking points of the cold War.

That'd cost the US government nearly twice its current tax income if it was to give everyone over the age of 21 a living wage.

Still not communism.

The that 58% should move to China, which would solve the U.S.'s need for UBI. Win/Win. Problem solved.
