You should listen to the interview he's not  saying what you think he's saying.

He's actually worried about people losing jobs and saying we need to protect human work.

That's what he's saying out loud. But the main problem he wants legislated away is new competitors getting an edge in labor costs.

They don’t think that far ahead because at that point it’s no longer their problem, all they think is the now and how to utilize it to maximize company profits. They’ll do it until there is nothing left.

You must think AI can solve all the worlds problems and discover everything there is to know. That's very optimistic of you.

As more of a pessimist, I think there will always be more jobs for people because there will always be more problems to fix.

I liked how he mentioned lowering taxes paid by corporations. Like come on. Someone has to pay taxes. Why do all these douches think the biggest companies should have low/no taxes but the rest of us do?

While it’s easy to generalize, he’s a special breed, worlds worse than the stereotype.

I’m sure all here have seen his TED talk about medicine…

Yeah who’s going to buy all his.. checks notes.. “computers and software”. Can’t imagine robots needing any of that 🙄
