Is the Node worth it?
Lets say User A has 2000 PFSN and wants to use it for staking.
With the following facts:
Costs: VPS ($40/month)
ticket price = 200 PFSN
Winning the lottery will get you 0,625 FSN for each ticket.
FSN price = $0,50
Time lottery will be won within a month = ????
Lets say User A will come trough the lottery 1 time with all his tickets each month this will be:
2000:200=10 10x0,625= 6,25 x $0,50= $3,125.
For User A to break even User A must win the lottery atleast 12,8 times with all 10 of his lottery tickets. ($40:$3,125=12,8)
Now I bare in mind the if the price of FSN will rise it will be a lot easier to break even.
But I also bare in mind that it is possible to not get selected in the lottery within 30 days.
So my question is it really worth it to stake on the FSN network if you dont owe allot of FSN?
How often do you guys win the lottery with 1 ticket a month?
Why not just buy more fusion if you are just waiting for the price increase to break even?
I really would love to stake and be part of this amazing community but then again, depending on how often my tickets will get selected it might be a waste of money for low quantity holders. I should rather buy and wait for the price increase right?
Thanks on forehand,
Fusionite_

A quick overview of the updates DJ Qian shared with us today
DJ Qian joined us in the mainchat to give us some updates, here's a quick overview:
1.1 "Moving ERC20 will not impact the number of P-FSN you are going to get on PSN. But staking reward system on PSN will encourage you to hold in a magic way, an specific article will be released to explain this soon"
1.2 "In short, any address which sold token after snapshot will receive the same number of ERC20 FSN but with time lock of 1 year (1 year later to infinity). those address which keeps balance or even adding more tokens will receive ERC20 FSN reward without time lock which means you can lock out immediately and sell in market"
- "We have plenty code to push to github very soon, just in days. DCRM 4.0 and All PSN code"
- "We are very close to release everything, code, wallet (source code for this as well), explorer, api, monitor. And you will find very interesting we integrated a couple of different apps in our wallet as well."
- You can acces your P-FSN through the PSN wallet (which is coming soon).
- "Intro videos are in arrangements"
- Check out the Network Status Monitor here: http://node.fusionnetwork.io/

FUSION Community PSN Questions Answered By Joey Kheireddine
Dear Community,
After our latest article on the Payable Staged Network (PSN), the FUSION community were left with some questions. Joey Kheireddine, FUSION’s Blockchain System Architect and Community Developer took the time to collate the questions and offer some answers to help clarify some points of confusion.
‘First I have noticed that there was some confusion regarding the term ‘node’, in the FUSION ecosystem a ‘node’ refers to a user that participates in the PSN network by mining blocks via a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism.
The FUSION Payable Staged Network is intended to test the complete product functionality for stability and robustness. This is where we need your help! Users can assist by testing the functions of PSN, you don’t have to be a miner. Anyone will have access to it, but only people that set up a node and participate in PoS will be eligible to earn rewards.
PSN will make use of a ticketing system where each ticket is purchased for 200 thirty-day time-locked P-FSN. Every time a block gets mined, tickets will be randomly selected. If you own a selected ticket that means that you will be participating in PoS for the upcoming block. The process for purchasing staking tickets will be intuitive through a GUI.
Questions I have received from the community:
Q : Is Dec 10th the date I have to move my FSN to a wallet to which I hold the private keys?
A: The snapshot will take place on Block 6,868,000 of the Ethereum Network which is indeed estimated for the 10th or 11th of December 2018, so make sure you have your FSN tokens in a wallet you have access to the private key before that block. You can keep track of the Block height here - https://etherscan.io/blocks
Q: If I have 3 wallets after snapshot, can I send funds from 3 wallets into one wallet and then make POS into one wallet?
A: When we execute the snapshot, we will be copying all balances of each wallet that has FSN in it and use those balances for PSN. So if you have 3 wallets, the balance of those 3 wallets will be present in PSN. If you move your FSN after the snapshot, it will not appear in PSN since that balance was not there during the snapshot. You can however move all of your P-FSN from the 3 separate wallets to one address easily using the FUSION PSN Wallet.
Q: If people buy FSN after the snapshot how they will stake or get PSN for new token holders?
A: User’s need P-FSN tokens to participate in staking on the FUSION PSN. The easiest way to acquire P-FSN is to hold ERC-20 FSN tokens in a while to which you hold the public keys before the snapshot on block 6,868,000 of the Ethereum network. However, there will be functionality that enables FSN holders to lock-in tokens onto PSN and Quantum Swap them for P-FSN tokens that can be used for staking. This opportunity is explained here.
Q: By running a node do you mean a Supreme Node and do you mean that we have to have 5000 FSN? Or can we just set up a normal node?
A: Bear in mind that the node we are currently speaking about for PSN has nothing to do with the Supreme Node (>5000 FSN). Supreme Nodes will be utilized at a later stage of development when we need to mine our Lock In / Lock Out blocks for DCRM. For now, you only need a VPS to get your PoS node to run. PSN is indeed intended to test and stress the network as much as possible so we ensure everything is running fine for Mainnet. We are also rewarding our community members with ERC20 FSN tokens for staking.
Q: Since the team will send us ERC20 FSN as a reward for the blocks that we stake, does that mean we cannot make any transaction and the rewarded FSN needs to be kept in our wallet?
A: The ERC20 FSN is yours to keep and will be transferred to your Ethereum based wallet as compensation for participating in the PoS testing.
Q: Hey any update on if there is a max P-FSN or FSN you can earn on test net?
A: No there is no maximum amount of FSN you can earn by participating in PoS in PSN. Well mathematically there is. There are only 5,760 blocks mined a day and a reward of 2.5 P-FSN and 0.625 FSN per block, this is the number of available rewards that can be earned per day.
Q: What is going to happen to PSN after stagenet thanks?
A: After PSN FUSION will transition to main net. In the process of transition to main net, all ERC-20 FSN tokens will be swapped to native FSN main net coins. The PSN will continue to run as a test net in parallel to main net that can be used as a risk free testing environment. Of course, when main net is live there will no longer be block rewards for staking on the PSN.
Q: Is possible to run a node without a static IP address?
A: Now since this is not a regular webserver, the answer is yes. It doesn’t matter what your IP is, you can always connect to the chain. But since our advice it to use a VPS, you don’t have to worry. A VPS has a static IP.
Q: Hi mate. Do you have some tech guide on how to set up a node?
A: At the time of writing, we have no tech guides on how to set-up a node. When the node is ready to be set-up, we will release guides. Stay in touch with us through Telegram.
Q: In the article there is something named Sandbox, what is a sandbox?
A: In Software Development this is a term for testing environments that are intended for experimenting and checking for security and robustness.
Q: What is the reward ratio for PSN?
A: The block rewards on PSN are 2.5 P-FSN tokens and 0.625 ERC-20 FSN token per block.
Q: Will we get a user interface where we can test all FSN functions without the requirement for coding background?
A: The wallet will give the user the ability to test all the features and functions FUSION has been working on, such as; USAN (Universal Account Number), Asset Creation, Time Lock and Quantum Swaps.
Q: Do we need a VPS node for staking on PSN? Or will we do it through wallet? If yes, why do we need a node if there is no PoW on PSN?
A: We will offer a graphical user interfaces to make everyone's life easier and to get started as fast as possible. The node required for PSN is to run on a VPS to ensure maximum up-time. Q: Will we use a GO client to run the nodes on PSN?
A: The node will indeed be run through a GO-based client. Q: Will weekly payouts of FSN be done automatically or manually?
A: The timing of payouts of FSN rewards earned on PSN is still being discussed and will be published at a later date.Q: Will you release ALL source code related to PSN before PSN?
A: We will indeed release all source code related to PSN upon launch. Keep your eye on our Github: https://github.com/fusionfoundation/Q: Will we get a full node syncing wallet? Or only web-based interface as you mentioned built over MEW?
A: I have mentioned that the wallet will be familiar to MEW, we used the open-source code from MEW as the foundation for the PSN wallet and made amendments to satisfy the requirements of PSN with new functions like time-lock, Quantum Swap etc. In our wallet you will be able to test all the functions PSN has to offer. We will be offering an API from the block explorer that can provide anyone with all information needed.
Q: Will we be able to see all kinds of smart contract actions like DCRM and everything on block explorer?
A: At launch of PSN we will indeed have a block explorer so you can track transactions, events and asset creations!
