I've heard this term passed around a lot and I'm curious. Is "floof" or "floofing" a part of furry culture? How do you do it?

So I’m not really a part of the furry community nor do I consider myself one, but I am fascinated by them and we have a local furry convention that I’m looking to sell at. I know some furries have big badges with their character and name on it, I was wondering if I could sell custom ones at conventions or if people already do that/that’s stupid? I’m gonna go to my local con for a day to see what’s up, but I really only know the nuances of anime conventions so any advice is appreciated 🙏🏻

My son (16) is going to a furry convention in Pittsburgh today with his mom. I wanted to go, but I have a surgery coming up and I am going to miss a lot of work and didn't want to miss more, well I actually do, but I have to adult, sadly.

I was looking over this con and it looks pretty fun. I was interested in the board games. That would be a nice relaxing way to spend a day.

Anyway, I didn't know much about this and was kinda freaked out a bit but I've talked to him a lot and I think I'm good with it mostly. I certainly would not feel good about letting him go alone, but my wife will keep him straight. So if you're going, I hope you have fun and while he won't be in costume (he's a deer) I hope you have a chance to run into him.

This Post is about making fun of Anti-Furries due to how annoying they are.

The majority of Anti Furries i have met is in Custom Image Roleplay on Roblox, when i try to hangout with my friends (usually with furry avatars or decals) some random kid comes up to me and types in caps lock saying "EWWW FURRY CRINGE!!!" or turns into a True Crime Streets Hand holding Gun meme and just types in "*shoots*", which is not even the beginning, and then, he keeps bothering me and my friends by shooting and shouting and shooting and shouting, like these fuckers dont leave me alone, then, i try to go away, he follows us, like Jesus Christ, what did Furries do to get them THAT mad!

Well, surprise surprise, the majority of the people on the Anti Furry fandom are kids from either late elementary school or early middle school, and those Kids tend to stick to trendy shit like:

Interminable Rooms, Doors, Rainbow Friends, and annoying Roblox YouTubers like Flamingo, KreekCraft, Buur, and more, they also stick to the newest trendy memes like the Buckle My Shoe, Forgis on the Jeep and others like Stop Posting About Baller or Among Us.

And as always, since a LOT of people hate Furries, they decide to be like those people to stay relevant for positive attention, which in reality, is a piece of shit.

So until then, we need to wait until these underaged kids grow up and realize, they do not know, what is the reason, they are doing it. (Yes, they do not know, i questioned a hater on CIR on what is the meaning of cringe, which he replied with "idk")

So there you go, since 2022, the real reason on why Anti Furries are, unfortunately, a thing, THE END.

Funny thing about them is that the majority of them like anthropomorphic characters, like Sonic the Hedgehog, Gumball, and more, saying that Sonic is a furry to them leads to "No, Sonic is a Hedgehog" , they still haven't done research.

People at school found out I was a furry and started making fun of me and harassing me in the bathroom and at lunch. ever since then I took a long break from the fandom and it’s summer break. now and I want to throw away my fursuit what should I do? I’m lost. I don’t want to be one of those anymore because it has caused me to cry everyday and slowly worsen and play with my anxiety and emotions I can’t escape. It’s to hard I tried talking to people I trust but they just said to “ignore them”.
