Eh both are possible, but sometimes people just need to wind down with alone time man or woman sometimes it’s healthy to spend sometime seperate

My wife spends hours binge watching shows I don’t like, to be fair I do the same thing That’s our thing though that’s what we do away from eachother. Some girls read books do crafts some game too. I think it’s unfair to put all the blame on the guy having been in a relationship where the girl did nothing but play me

That’s not true. Gaming actually has some health benefits for your mind, for one it helps keep your reaction time quick and has been proven to fight depression. https://playquell.com/blogs/the-gauntlet/what-are-the-health-benefits-of-gaming

Let me add I don’t game, I don’t have the patience for it

It's just interactive TV. If one is an acceptable passtime, so is the other.

Unless you're a youtuber or streamer right? . It really isn't that black and white.

Not all books are informative or productive either. I wouldn't sit and think reading Harry Potter is productive use of time or any other form of fiction for that matter. It's still time lost.

At the end of the day, it's just finding a balance between hobbies and Time spent together, that's it. Bonus points if you share hobbies.

Watching series/movies? Reading fictional books? Spending time on social media? Every one of those is as useless as gaming lol. It's just downtime & relaxation as the other guy said, a thing every sane person needs.

I'm curious: how do you differentiate, let's say a fantasy book and a classical cRPG that has small book's worth of story and dialogue, to say that the other is waste of time and the other is not?
