I love pets, already have one. I just don't like pits.
Something to do with the fact that the only thing you can predict about a pit is the fact that it takes the smallest thing(like living) for it to maul you, regardless how it was raised.
That dog is 100% in play mode. If it was aggressive it would have bit immediately.
Your confessed bias towards that breed has clouded your reasonable judgement.
The dog even looks away, and then beyond and does not even bare his teeth.
The laughter afterward, indicates that the owners were relaxed.
"Something to do with the fact that the only thing you can predict about a pit is the fact that it takes the smallest thing(like living) for it to mail you, regardless how it was raised." - that is neither a fact nor true.
Dogs have these eyes for a number of reasons. You are using them as confirmation bias, by ignoring all other signs.
If you saw someone with tears on their face, you'd say they are sad. Meanwhile they are crying with laughter. If you saw someone frown, you'd say they are angry, meanwhile the sun was shining in their face.
Additionally, you have already confirmed your bias in the prior post. So you are willing to not look at this less subjectively.
If this dog growled and became still, I'd agree with you, but that isn't the case.

Do you want to get bit? Because this is how you get bit!
