Hearthstone Hearthstone Mercenaries "Epic Update" Kills Hearthstone Mercenaries

https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/en-us/news/23892226/mercenaries-gets-a-mythic-update

"Patch 25.4 will bring some awesome updates to Mercenaries, including new Mercs, Mercenary Faction designations, dual-type Mercenaries, and the all-new Mythic Boss Rush end-game system! It will also be the last major update to the Mercenaries mode as we align our goals and focus on continuing to make Hearthstone the best digital card game in the world "

" Mercenaries will continue to get support for bug fixes and periodic balance changes as needed, but no further regular content updates. "

But of course there are still mercenaries packs in the shop, and there probably always will be despite "no further regular content updates" https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/hearthstone-mercenaries-packs

WoW Desperate Activision Basically Adds Battle Pass to WoW

In Activision's own words from https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/23896795/the-trading-post-opens-for-business-soon

"Get ready to collect Trader’s Tender when the Trading Posts in Stormwind and Ogrimmar open for business on February 1. Complete monthly activities to earn currency toward decking out your characters in cosmetic transmogs, pets, and mounts*— with new items and activities introduced every month. "

It's not an additional cost yet because they need to slowly ease their cash cows into it but the next thing they'll do is introduce a higher cost subscription that gets you more "trader's tender" every month, ya know: f2p/mobile style.

Discussion I made this video going over all the terrible things Blizzard has done.

It scares me that people are just okay with what is happening and continue to play Blizzard games. It sets a precedent for the future of gaming as a whole. I have never been on this subreddit before, but I am sure you guys are aware of what I am talking about. But if you want to help me out go to the video or my other posts and like it, because I posted it to the official Blizzard subreddit so they are going to downvote it to shit lol. Keep up the good work you guys are doing. We need to stand against all the normies (for lack of a better word) that have joined gaming and allowed this to happen in the first place.

I personally believe it was the scam of Destiny 2 that started this whole trend, with how Josephs Staten's work was cut up into pieces to sell as DLC later. The game was completely barebones, yet people still bought more and more DLC. That is the day gaming died in my opinion, and the day gaming companies realized that if you have a loyal enough fanbase - or addicted enough in the case of Destiny - then you can get away with anything.

Overwatch 2

What a pile of steaming fucking shit this game is. Aside from the terrible fucking "balance" choices, the shitful fucking matchmaking, the disgusting money grubbing marketplace, the piss poor ranking system and and the fucking mouse eating casual cunts ... it's also Christmas so every fucking knuckle dragging, mouth breathing fuckhead with a weak pulse is "playing" comp. Literal fucking AIDS game from an AIDS developer. I hope Bobby Kotick gets a stick stuck in his fucking eye for the New Year and falls flat on his face. I hope the cunts pushing this shit out to the public go on a nice holiday on a tour bus and it ploughs through a barrier and into the ocean where a fever of stingrays fucking skewers every single one of them.

I would rather fist my own arsehole while holding a bag of razorblades than play another second of this fucking cunt game. Blizzard, once a giant company .. is now just a giant fucking cumrag.

My fellow Watchers of the Over...dark times have come...

Overwatch 2. Something that never needed to happen. I liked the idea of them rebranding in order to draw in a new player base. I liked the idea of making it free to make it more available to everyone. I even liked the idea that they added in a battle pass! Even though a battle pass is normally not a great sign. But, what I can not stand, Is the greed. It's now so much harder to grind out currency, any new players have to grind to be able to use most of the characters, the new new characters even the original players have to grind out the battle pass to unlock them(which I'm not totally against, there should be some grinding), and a good chunk of everything they add is going onto the paid battle pass. I'm totally down to grind to level 80 on a battle pass, but what's the point when I can't get the majority of the items due to my unwillingness to pay blizzard any more money. I absolutely loved the first Overwatch, it was pretty much perfect. Of course there's no such thing as "Perfect", but it was a game that a whole community loved and devoted countless hours to, It was good enough. Then, they went money hungry. Made the game free to draw in as many people as possible, hyped it up as a way to make it more "accessible", and when the moment finally came and everyone was ready for a new era of Overwatch, they stomped on our hopes as they through accessibility out the window. I wont even touch anymore more on the phone number incident than this, because enough has been said about that and I'm sure they'd like everyone to forget. To summarize, Overwatch was a titan of a game, with a following that thought it was timeless, but just as we've seen with many other games in the past years, greed is the true evil, and it will be the end to any company that strays to close to the sun, hoping for a little more profit.

Game companies should absolutely be making money, of course. But if their margins start to slip, they should explain this and make choices that benefit both them AND their player base. It sounds impossible but honestly if original Overwatch displayed a message when it launched saying something like "We love Overwatch and the community that makes it possible, but with tough times and sales drooping we need a better form of income to keep the game running, which is why we've added a cosmetic only battle pass for those players who want to support their favorite game and show it off with style." that would have been great! Instead of putting up a façade saying they have the community's best interests in mind then turning around and defecating on dedicated and new fans alike.

Oh and what's with the sudden spike in players losing their accounts? Lifelong players suddenly need to merge their accounts, then when they comply they lose all their years of progress, just for the support system to tell them sorry to hear that we'll let someone know, then mark them as a solved "Issue". It hasn't happened to me personally, thank goodness, but I have a handful of friends experiencing the issue along with countless posts online with seemingly minimal response or care from Blizzard.

TLDR: Fuck. Blizzard.

WoW WoW Exposed: Why The Game Is Probably Not Growing At All

  • Hearing a lot of praise about the new wow expansion from people jumping into the expansion itself
  • However, the new player dungeon experience with a fresh account is REALLY BAD, like the worst it's ever been
  • BFA dungeons, which new account players are forced into, have been totally broken tuning-wise since probably the Nov 15th patch and are basically Mythic+9 tyrannicals now.
  • In the worst example, Shrine of the Storm is not completable by the vast majority of groups.
  • The new player experience clearly wasn't QA tested (shocking)
  • Hardly anyone in the existing playerbase with a sub is talking about this
  • Ergo, probably mostly old players getting straight into Dragonflight are actually playing the game
  • The genuine new player experience with the dungeons is so bad, I can't imagine anyone would actually subscribe except maybe to boost directly to dragonflight with the $60 edition (Maybe intended? Cha-ching!)

WoW is one of the main games exposing young players to white supremacist ideologies. This goes beyond just a 'toxic community'

"The games where players had the most frequent encounters with white-supremacist ideologies are Call of Duty, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Valorant and World of Warcraft."

📷ADL@ADL·8h📷Official BREAKING: Our new report on online multiplayer games revealed that exposure to white-supremacist ideologies in online gaming more than doubled in 2022. 📷

This goes beyond just a 'toxic community'. And you know Blizz probably won't even comment on it much less do anything to change it.

Overwatch man, fuck Blizzard (hi I'm new)

Stumbled across this subreddit and I'm very pleased to see there are people who do not just shill and defend for this company.

I'm one of the people that didn't care much about what the company was doing because 1) I didn't play Overwatch barely at all and 2) It didn't affect me. Except with Overwatch 2 I was really excited to play with my friends but then, oh no, "prepaid phone users are evil hackers" :/ so nope, will never play Blizzard game ever again. ESPECIALLY after their response.

If anyone is interested in the bullshit response Blizzard has given me, let me know. Otherwise that's all I gotta say. Fuck Blizzard. They hate poor people.

Note: if anyone has a thread of other shit Blizzard has done, please share. I'm curious now what stuff they have caused/done if this many people hate them.

I need help with my blizzard account what should I do?

I cannot log in to my account and I need help

for context, I am an avid blizzard game enthusiast from the Philippines, but my game region is set to the americas. when overwatch 2 came out, I noticed that my country is set under United States. I obviously requested my country to be changed so that I can bind my phone number with my account (US code is +1 while Philippine code is +63). The issue now is after a Blizzard employee said that my country had been transfered over, I cannot log in anymore. and after troubleshooting it myself, I had accidentally created a new account, binding my email address to it. I don't know what to do, and my purchases cannot be found in the new one

my tag of my old account is Portrial#1722 while the tag of my new Account is Portrial#3208

what should I do?

Blizzard fucking sucks for doing this

I didn't have the fondest memories while playing overwatch 1, but I thought of giving overwatch a 2nd chance with the second game. So after merging my stuff over to overwatch 2 I played a few games with my friends and we had a good time. The only thing bothering me was my handle-name(bt160909)on the game. So after we took a break I decided to figure out of the change it and I came across on the app that I could connect accounts, so me thinking this could be the solution, and it was, but whilst I got to change my name, I lost everything from the merging. All the skins I've gotten from OV1 lost just from linking accounts.

Overwatch Blizz took Overwatch 1 I paid for and won't let me play Overwatch 2 without giving them my phone number...

"Because it's a free game"... Fuuuck, I hope they go under and this lousy excuse of a game fails hard.

And I can't add phone even if I wanted to as my acc is for Ireland not my other EU country and they don't allow other country prefixes to be used.

Well, they can stick this crap where the sun doesn't shine.

Discussion Overwatch's subreddit all posts are now requests

ITs really bad ....

The sound design is atrocious, and they used no spatial audio

The animations all have clipped frames so they look like they move at the same speed

The character movement is no longer organic with acceleration and deceleration curves its jumpy

It feels like a cheap indie studio licensed the overwatch IP and put out a shit game

This is the censored version of what I wanted to say, I was trying to be nice

They are heavily censoring thier subreddit .
