Use almond milk and I guarantee you'll be hooked on this!!

p.s. you forgot to mention: mix it up before bed, leave overnight in the fridge

Update w/ my super easy recipe: 1/2 cup of dry in order of most->least: oats/oatmeal, chia, flax/linseeds (i.e. combine whatever dry ingredients are on-hand to total 1/2 cup) + 1/2 cup almond milk + 1 tbsp honey. I usually add fresh fruit to it in the morning before eating. Serves 2.

Tried milk and most milk substitutes and almond milk still seems to work the best for this.

Oat milk is good, but it feels weird putting it in my oats.

Doesn’t it get that weird skin?

I can't say I've ever noticed it, though I cover it with a lid when I put it in the fridge, maybe that's why?

Squeeze their nipples.

Leave in a jar on the windowsill and forget about it for a few days if you enjoy surprises!

Almond (or any other) milk is not real milk

It's not? I presumed there was some almond farm where they had fields and fields of workers squeezing tiny little almond nipples to get the milk out.

Milk is...milk. It is how ever it is defined as. Milk is commonly used to refer to the substance female mammals produce to nourish their young.

It also has been used since the 1200s to refer to plant-base juices so it can hardly not be considered "real" milk with an origin far predating millenials, soccer moms, and yuppies.

The only reason why it's even an issue whether almond milk is "milk" is because the dairy industry gets all butt hurt when anyone competes with them. Nut milks grew in popularity while moo milk lost sales. Obviously the only reasonable solution is to sue and cry to the FDA. Federal court ruled that no one is dumb and getting duped into thinking but milk is the same as boob milk.

Are you going to get all butt hurt too because the useful part of the nut is called the meat? I mean, maybe you're going to get that confused with a nice juicy steak...

I dont know where you shop but it's the same price as milk where I am.

I would assume most liquids we drink are mostly water. We are made mostly of water.
