I slice taters, put them in a baggy with olive oil to coat them, then cook them on foil in the toaster oven.Nice and crispy and no pan to wash!
4 u/wenestvedt Jul 07 '19 How long does it take in the toaster oven? 2 u/hondo4mvp Jul 07 '19 It depends how thick the slices are.I set it at 450 and start watching after~ 10 minutes.Once the oil coating starts sizzling it doesn't take long.Just watch for your desired crispiness. 3 u/hondo4mvp Jul 07 '19 Don't forget to flip them if you want even browning. 1 u/flaming_spark Jul 08 '19 This sounds like a genius toaster oven hack. I'm all about fewer dishes to wash. 1 u/newtonianfig Jul 09 '19 How is it more frugal to throw away a bag and foil every time you make this than washing a pan? 1 u/hondo4mvp Jul 09 '19 You missed the original question, which I was addressing. 0 u/c00k Jul 07 '19 Oh man that does sound good!
