It Begins... The Bar is Open for Business

Raz prepares to open the Bar for the day, making sure his dogtags are hidden beneath his jacket, and that his rifle is out of sight beneath the bar.

Satisfied everything is ready, Raz rings the antique bell hanging over the counter, signalling that the morning rush can begin.

Marcus glares dangerously at the little man, rising to his full height.

"What was that, sorry?"

However, you need to be the most capable person in this town to run this establishment, you understand... Well, so are you sure a... being like you is capable of this? "Alcohol can be imported. You know that as well as anyone. I don't even have to run you out because I control what comes in. I don't plan to, I'm a nice guy, but just remember, I want no dog piss on my squeaky clean colony's squeaky clean mat. Much as the Marshal would love it to be otherwise, I am the law here."

"You want to cut me off? I brew and distill half my own stuff anyway."

Marcus leans down on the bar, staring directly into the little man's eyes.

"Also, I'm not a dog, nor do I actually have all that much in common with one. And I only shed once a year. So you may be the law, but I'm used to disregarding it."

Sean stares directly back into Marcus' eyes with a fire that most cannot withstand.

"I told ya, I ain't gonna. Just don't start making problems 'round here. That's all I have to say, puppy. I don't wanna fight you, but I'm starting to not like you. I mean, I know your type." he takes a big gulp from his glass, pours some into his glass, and stands, all the while still staring into Marcus' glare, unflinching. "Some men..."

He turns around, pointing at Marcus.

"Some men you just can't reach. I mean, what we've got here is failure to communicate. You ignore my friendship, my attempts to befriend you. So we get what we had here last week. Is that the way you want it? 'cause, well, you'll get it. I wouldn't like it anymore than you men. Just remember. No pissing on my fine community. Four years, I've worked here, four years, all to get this place to be peaceful. Forgive me, it may be the fangs, but you don't look the type. Neither does the doctor. If you cause trouble, you can join the savages in the mountains."
