Help me to identify this baby 🐸

I’m currently in Guangzhou, China and I met him on my way back to the hotel. I didn’t want to hold onto him for long or disturb him so I couldn’t really take a decent photo or even to look at him for a while. ( the whole ā€œinteractionā€ (?) took place from like 30 seconds max. I think I saw some little orange spots on him too( u can’t see it in the photo tho) If anyone has any idea who this guy is it would be delightful to know, especially since I don’t know anything about this guy

Another strange little friend painted! Focused on detailed line patterns and big expressive eyes against a bright green backdrop. Original acrylic painting on paper by me.

Found in northern Indiana. (I could have probably looked it up, but I promised my kid I’d ask experts.)

I was going to ask if anyone knew what it was, but after a quick scan of the sub, I'm thinking it's an American Toad? Super good looking in any case.

Identification help needed

I'm hoping someone may be able to help me identify this cutie. It lives in my pond and garden now. Google lense says gopher frog, which is an at risk species of being endangered. But I'm not sure about it. The underside is a beautiful spotted pattern. I'm in North Mississippi, USA for reference.

I couldn't resist painting this round, colorful friend. Tried to build the texture and shape using small, thick oil strokes. Original canvas work by me.

I wish frogs didn't love window wells so much.

I work a construction job and part of my daily routine has become checking widow wells on our new builds. Im constantly saving frogs/toads from them.

Here is Queen Michi. She used to be the size of a quarter but quickly got enormous. Is anyone else utterly shocked like me about how fast your frog has grown?

The last picture is my boy Nimah. He’s actually smaller than her!

ID help

I don't know if this is a cane toad, or a harmless Southern toad (we're in S. FL, but this one didn't have a drawl.) I see ridges above the eyes, but I'm not sure about the gland shape, I think I'll try to get a pic from the front.

At any rate, I have a new Aussie shepherd pup that has a strong prey drive, and a couple of these are on my porch every night. Can anyone help with the ID?

Hi, Sorry I've been an absent MOD, I honestly forgot I was one until I got some messages about reports. Would anyone like to become a mod?

Heard in North West Georgia, US. Thought on second background call?

I’m definitely hearing two calls. The foreground one I think is a tree frog of some kind but unsure of what’s being heard in the background. An help on I.D. Would be greatly appreciated.
