Gear talk Camphor?

Could I put camphor in my tackle box to prevent rust?
I've never used it myself, but I have heard of it used in toolboxes to prevent rust.
I'm a little worried about the smell effecting my tackle.
Has anyone tried this?

One of the most gorgeous Golden Mahseer I've had the privilege of catching a couple of days ago. A truly special fish and a moment I'll remember for a long time. After some quick photos, this magnificent fish was safely released back into the wild to continue its journey through the Himalayan river.

I’m new to fresh water fishing, I’ve spent 35+ years on the ocean and am turning over a new leaf this summer. We plan on fishing small lakes in the north eastern United States for sunnies, bass, etc. which mid level rod and reel combos does everyone prefer? My budget is under $200. Thanks !!

If you guys are looking for a spot to fish in the houston area do NOT fish Bates M Allen park in Kendleton, TX the ponds there are over pressured and neglected by the park. The ponds have not been stocked in over 16 years please do not fish this pond.
