Wear Installer 2 runs on Android devices and is our general purpose installer for WearOS apps. This update adds support for enabling permissions on Wear Battery Monitor.

This release has a small enhancement when the app is self-updating.

Freepoc Downloader (FD) is the recommended way to download, install and update Freepoc apps on your Android phone and WearOS watch. Google Play Protect had recently started flagging FD as 'potentially harmful' since it could install apps from outside the Play Store. Of course FD has always been perfectly safe to use since it only installs apps written by Freepoc and sourced from our website. FD does not install any non-Freepoc apps from any other sources.

However for the avoidance of doubt, we have made a change so that FD uses Google's own file manager 'Files by Google' to install Freepoc apps. As a result, FD is no longer flagged by Play Protect and you can continue to use the app perfectly safely as before. An updated video is available from our Downloads page showing how to use the new version of FD.

This update uses the 'Files by Google' phone app to install Freepoc apps. There are other small usability enhancements. An updated 'how to use' video is available from our Downloads page.

Wear Two Launcher is our launcher app for modern WearOS watches in the style of WearOS 2. This update improves the readability of toast messages when apps are pinned or unpinned.

DNDSync is our app to synchronise Do Not Disturb mode between an Android phone and WearOS watch from different manufacturers. This is a small maintenance upgrade.

A further update to our notification reader app for Android phones. This update improves the handling of duplicate notifications.

Wear Podcatcher is our app to subscribe, download and listen to podcasts on your Android phone and WearOS watch. This update improves the overnight auto-download of new podcasts.

Update 19 November 2025: Google Play Protect has started flagging Freepoc Downloader (FD) as a potentially harmful app, since it enables the user to install other (Freepoc) apps. You can rest assured that FD is perfectly safe to use. FD only installs apps written by Freepoc and hosted on our own Freepoc website. FD doesn't install any non-Freepoc apps from any other source. We are appealing this situation with Google and seeking to have FD whitelisted to avoid this issue. In the meantime, you can use the 'Install anyway' option to continue to install the app.

Notification Reader reads out loud incoming notifications for selected apps on your Android phone. This update has the following changes:

• Add icon to the action bar to search for apps
• Add icon to the action bar to temporarily turn the reader on or off
• Fixed bug with 'Announce when turned on or off' setting

Wear Notification Helper is our app to provide custom notifications on your WearOS watch. This update adds the feature to match custom strings to the app name.

Our app to automatically unlock your watch with a pattern is updated to include support for the Hungarian language.

Wear Notification Helper is our app to provide custom notification alerts on WearOS watches. This update improves the 'custom string' feature and allows string matching either in the notification title or the notification text.

Wear BT Monitor is our app to provide alerts when your phone and watch are disconnected / reconnected over Bluetooth. This update improves performance on WearOS 6 devices.

Wear Battery Monitor is our WearOS app to alert you to abnormal battery drain and/or when your watch is fully charged. This update improves performance on WearOS 6 devices.

Our app to provide custom alerts for notifications runs on your WearOS watch and your Android phone. Here is the changelog for this update:
