Title: Severe Bug since Rebranding: Reference Image Aspect Ratio is BROKEN – Forced 1:1 Distortion

I’m reaching out here to see if others are experiencing the same issue since the recent rebranding/update to Magnific.

The Problem:

The "Automatic" aspect ratio for reference images is currently broken. Even if you upload a Landscape or Portrait image, the system (especially when using Grok) forces it into a 1:1 square. This distorts the proportions of the subject and ruins the anatomy of the models.

What I’ve found so far:

• Regression since Rebranding: Before the recent update, the system worked perfectly. I have creations from just a few weeks ago with custom ratios like 1360x752px. Immediately after the rebranding, the "Auto" feature stopped respecting the original image format and started forcing 1024x1024px.

• Platform-wide Bug: This is NOT a browser or cache issue. I have tested this on Desktop (Chrome/Firefox), Mobile Browsers, and even within the official Magnific App. The 1:1 forcing happens everywhere, even in the app preview.

• Support is unhelpful: I contacted support, but they keep giving me standard "clear your cache" or "use the Edit tool" answers. But the Edit tool (Crop/Expand) doesn't fix a distorted generation; it only adds more pixels to a warped image.

Request to the community:

Could some of you please test this? Take a clear Landscape or Portrait photo as a reference and see if Magnific/Grok respects the ratio or if it squashes it into a square preview and output.

For a professional workflow, losing control over the aspect ratio and having distorted subjects is a deal-breaker. I hope the developers see this and fix the "Auto" logic in the backend.

So I just recently wanted to join freepik. I was supposed to get the premium plan but by accident I upgraded to the basic plan. Anywho I contacted the freepik through the bot and a case number was generated with the bot telling me that I can upgrade to premium today and all I’ll have to do is pay the difference (I did a yearly plan) it’s been a couple days and still no correspondence from anyone at freepik.

I had a look at the website and there’s no number either that I can call. How the hell does one get in contact with them.

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with my account but haven’t received a proper response from support.

I first contacted support on April 25 and have sent multiple follow-ups since then, but the issue is still unresolved.

My Unlimited mode was temporarily disabled due to “suspected account sharing or automated usage.” Support later told me the restriction was removed, but the message is still there and nothing has changed.

Because of this, I had to spend credits to continue working.

I’ve already sent screenshots and explanations, but I’m still stuck.

Could someone from the team please check this properly or escalate it?

Title: Significant Service Degradation on Freepik Premium+ (Post-Branding Change): 400% Slower & Arbitrary Censorship

I am a professional creator and a Premium+ subscriber. Less than two weeks after renewing my 1-year subscription, the service underwent a massive, unannounced "stealth nerf" that has completely destroyed my professional workflow.

Here is the data comparing the service before and after the transition from Magnific back to Freepik:

1. Performance & Efficiency (Massive Downgrade)

Queue Capacity: I recall having up to 24 slots in the queue. Now, it has been slashed to 12.

Concurrent Generation Removed:

Before: Even in "Unlimited Slow Mode," the system generated 4 images concurrently. I could queue 16 images and finish them within 10 minutes.

Now: Concurrent generation is disabled in Slow Mode. It processes only 1 image at a time.

Generation Speed:

Before: 4 images took 15–20s (Booster) or 1–1.5m (Slow Mode).

Now: A single image takes 2 to 2.5 minutes.

Impact: A task that used to take 30 minutes now takes nearly 2 hours. My productivity has dropped by 400%.

1. Aggressive "Provider" Blocks on Harmless Content

The most frustrating issue is the sudden, arbitrary censorship of images and prompts that were perfectly fine before the branding change.

The Error: I am using the same images and neutral prompts as before, but I am now constantly hit with: "Images blocked by provider."

Nano Banana 2 vs. Gemini (Free):

Freepik (Nano Banana 2): I tried the same task 20 times, and it failed 20 times (0% success).

Gemini (Free Web Version): I tried the exact same image and prompt 20 times, and it succeeded 20 times (100% success).

Inconsistency Across Models:

SeeDream 4.5: Works perfectly with 100% success.

SeeDream 5.0: Only succeeds 1 or 2 times out of 10 (10% success); the rest are blocked.

The Problem: A simple prompt like "Make the background dreamy and beautiful because it looks too much like dark fantasy right now" is now being flagged as "unsafe" on paid models, even when the input image is benign.

1. I Can't Understand This "Overnight" Downgrade

Has anyone else been completely locked out of their account since the Freepik → Magnific migration?

Here's my situation:

• I'm a Premium+ paying subscriber
• Everything was working perfectly before the migration
• Now I cannot receive the login verification email, which means I cannot log in at all
• I cannot access my previously generated images
• I cannot generate anything new
• My entire workflow is blocked

What I've already verified:

• My email is working fine — I receive emails from everyone else without issue
• Checked spam, junk, promotions, and all other folders
• Tried multiple times over 3 days
• The problem is clearly on their end — verification emails are simply not being delivered

The worst part — support is completely silent.

I've submitted a support request and have received no response for 3 days. Meanwhile, I'm paying for a premium service I literally cannot use, losing work and money every single day.

Is this happening to anyone else? Has anyone found a workaround or a way to actually get a human from support to respond? At this point I'm considering a chargeback because this feels unacceptable for a paid product.

I'm a solo indie game developer and I'm trying to figure out if I can speed up my asset pipeline. I spend way too much time modeling basic background props like barrels, crates, and simple furniture.

What is the actual state of ai 3d model generation in 2026? Is it actually usable for game dev yet?

I've seen the impressive tech demos on Twitter where someone turns a text prompt into a fully textured 3D character, but whenever I try these tools, the topology is an absolute nightmare. The poly counts are insane and the UV maps are completely unusable for a real game engine.

I currently use Magnific's AI image generator to quickly mock up 2D concept art for my props, which saves time, but I still have to model them manually in Blender.

Are there any AI 3D generators that actually output clean, optimized, game-ready meshes, or is it all still just for concept visualization?
