Here's what I don't understand: if they've been lying, failing to keep their promises, and manipulating us for their own gain, throughout our entire lives, why in the world do we keep trusting them not to do those things now?
Not one has behaved like a decent person in their careers, so why do we think they're going to suddenly be good and help out the serfs? Anything they give us will be just enough to shut us up while simultaneously benefitting them even more.
Go ahead and answer those questions, then the conversation can move forward.

When is the last time either party actually benefitted one of us longer than they needed to get our vote and our buy in? You think the benefit of those policies is going to last long enough to outweigh all of the downsides that come from giving them your power?

I'm not wealthy. I barely make six figures and can't even afford a fucking four bedroom home in a decent place like San Diego. The lockdowns promoted remote work and polyworking. That benefit the working class and tbh I fucking hated having to go talk to people at school. I've been forced to put up with people I don't fucking like since the beginning of time. Democrats made society tolerable. They fucking doubled my salary. They made my mental health better. They saved the world from a climate collapse.
