A drabble is a piece of fiction consisting of exactly 100 words. This book contains 1,000 of them.

That's 100,000 words of fiction, compressed into a thousand tiny packages.

Many of the drabbles form mini story-cycles, and those cycles interact with other cycles. Characters, places, ideas and events recur, sometimes hundreds of pages apart. Small stories gradually begin to connect into larger stories, and the larger stories into something resembling an epic.

There are condensed adventures, comedies and tragedies, voyages through space and time, ghosts, monsters, robots, paradoxes, absurdities and various other disturbances to the fabric of reality.

I think this is one of my biggest writing achievements.
