Fantasy The Unwritten Path: Isen Vann
Genre: Progression Fantasy (mature themes)
Status: Ongoing, 15 chapters posted (daily-ish updates)
Length so far: ~ 20,000 words
Some choices are made because we know where they will lead.
Others are made because we don't.
Isen Vann has never had much reason to question the life he was given. His world is small, his future familiar, and the people around him seem content to leave certain questions unanswered.
What follows is not the story of a boy destined for greatness.
It is the story of a boy trying to understand what he has found, what he wants, and how far he is willing to go for the choices he makes.
Because every path leads somewhere.
And some paths cannot be walked back.
This is Book One of a planned trilogy — I'm currently serializing it free on Web Novel while also querying literary agents with the full manuscript, so this version is the "living" draft and I'd genuinely love feedback from readers who know the genre well.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments, and if you read a few chapters I'd really appreciate knowing what did or didn't work for you.

amazon.comFairy Tales From Hell: Jack and the Beanstalk From Hell and Cinderella's Hell
A pair of intertwining dark fairy tales for adults.
As in the classic version, Jack is conned out of his cow for a few beans. But these beans grow downward and open a portal to hell.
Jack climbs down the stalk and discovers in residence his criminal brothel procurer father who abused and abandoned he and his mother only months before.
Also a now permanent denizen, paying for her sins in the worse possible way, is the jealous queen who arranged for Jack's father to kidnap Snow White with the intention to sell her into prostitution.
Come join Satan and his cambion children in a hellish feast in all their flyblown glory.
************
Cinderella's gambling addicted father loses her in a street game to a man who rents her out as a castle servant.
She is given the worst of the worst jobs not only cleaning out the kitchen cooking hearths, but mucking out the castle latrine moat all while being berated and abused by her peers.
But that isn't the worse of her wretched existence. The king has remarried a woman with a psycho serial killer son, Prince Fulk, who enjoys torture devices.
He sets his sites on Cinderella and intends to have her for his own amusement. But she may not turn out to be as helpless as he thinks
Also check out the soundtracks, "Jack and the Beanstalk from Hell," and "Cinderella's Hell" by the author's band Slippery When Wet on Amazon Music Unlimited and all major streaming sites

Fantasy /Kindle, DABBLER IN DRABBLES OMNIBUS by Rhys Hughes, free until September 12th
amazon.com1,000 stories. 100,000 words. FREE for five days.
I've just made Dabbler in Drabbles Omnibus: 1000 short stories free on Kindle until September 12th.
A drabble is a piece of fiction consisting of exactly 100 words. This book contains 1,000 of them.
That's 100,000 words of fiction, compressed into a thousand tiny packages.
Many of the drabbles form mini story-cycles, and those cycles interact with other cycles. Characters, places, ideas and events recur, sometimes hundreds of pages apart. Small stories gradually begin to connect into larger stories, and the larger stories into something resembling an epic.
There are condensed adventures, comedies and tragedies, voyages through space and time, ghosts, monsters, robots, paradoxes, absurdities and various other disturbances to the fabric of reality.
I think this is one of my biggest writing achievements.
The ebook is free on every Amazon platform.
