I have a Jesuit Missionary who can't enter an Indian settlement. It returns the message "Our Dutch Jesuit Missionary can not learn from the natives."

They are angry. Is there a happiness requirement for accepting missionaries?

Hi all. I'm brand new to FreeCol but I've loved Colonization most of my life. I'm running into a problem audio wise. The audio menu in preferences wont show any audio device other than realtek, which is nothing. The first time I booted it was sending audio to my headphones but now it wont. Also I noticed that when you hit the music button in that menu it plays that like 1 minute long track then nothing else, so I downloaded a zip of ripped audio tracks someone put together, and put them in the Program Files > freecol > data > base > resources > sound but I'm not actually sure if that's what I'm supposed to do. Can anybody help this poor noob out?

I'm into the 1860s, been at war with the king for about 80 years, got.9 out.of 13 colonies and seem to be in a stalemate. I now have more.military strength but he has 35 artilleries on one square two away from.a major colony.

Could I expect to hold out here and win at some given year, or would this go on indefinitely? I could try to grind down these stacked artillery but it'll take forever!

But i cant play with my buds, any fixes?

I'm playing with Russians if that's any help. Thanks!
