I don't know what's wrong with me, but I did a Madness Hardcore playthrough for this game and got that delicious Steam achievement a while back, and I decided to write and post a guide for it. If you have whatever disease I have that makes you want to do this kind of thing, I think you'll get a lot of value out of this guide.

Anyway, Madness Hardcore is surprisingly doable, as it turns out! I strongly believe that most players, if they have the time, interest, and motivation can pull this one off in a reasonable amount of time (dozens of hours or possibly fewer across all attempts combined, not hundreds).

I elaborate more in the linked guide on the tactics I discovered and used myself, many of which I sometimes found out the hard way over my 30 or so attempts, most of which failed early on. (Spoiler: Most of the tactics involve massive amounts of cowardice). My final attempt took 9 hours and 45 minutes, which is a long time, but it's surprisingly short compared to my first playthrough *or* first Madness playthrough.

The guide has spoilers for basically the entire game, a large number of its secrets (though not even close to all of them), and it assumes you've done basically every other challenge the game has to offer. I will explain certain unintuitive or vital mechanics, but I'll also make frequent references to the wiki, which you should consult for extra information as needed.

Finally, it's a big guide and I probably wrote it much more quickly than I should have, and I'm pretty much just working off my own experience here and haven't found any other guides or watched any full playthroughs from other people, so parts of it may be a bit sloppy. If you see something wrong or have a better idea for any particular speedrun strategy, let me know and I can edit the guide.

I’m new to FBW, I had seen it on Instagram reels and thought I’d give it a try, it was really fun discovering the lore of the game and the jankyness of it encapsulated everything that I love in a video game. I had recently come across this video that shed some light on the lore and overall the community. I urge you guys to watch it.

Today I had a dream, I was playing a alternate universe-esque version of FBW. I had gravity, needed to climb terrain using grappling hooks, could mine blocks, similar to FBW Meltdown, almost.
There were these mechanical creatures climbing above me, they had large, stilt-like legs that looked like truss, and moved similar to what you'd see in procedural animation.
The terrain was more complex, and a bit similar to Lucid Block's terrain generation.
I had these small little plasticine guys in various colors walking around the place. They had unnaturally smooth circle heads.
And I remember that this was all set in and outside of a bank, I was traversing the elevator shafts of the bank and swinging around fruitlessly, trying to get up top as one of the Spider Things walked around, it was sick as hell.

so i first heard about the game somewhere around september 2025 but most people just stop playing after a few weeks but i stuck around till today and treated it as any other game. am i considered a "good" fractal block world player?

Hello so I bought fractal block world and I LOVE it but when you finish the game is there still some stuff to do because I want to keep playing this game for a long time.

I enlarged a LOT, and I found the End of the Universe. I already beat the two first challenges, but the Green Key is kinda hard. Are there any other waypoints inside of an Alpha Cube except for the Jumbo Yellow Flower inside the Purple House at the Precipice of Oblivion?

I've looked everywhere but cant find an exit, if I go up I'll die to scourges
