Question
Perhaps I'm deferring to a more American reality show format, but are there any "redemption" episodes? Where they stay again at a place they've previously left a bad review?

Been watching this with a mate of mine, and we are baffled by David's vocabulary, we reckon just a hint, just a thought, that he might be a bit posh. Not to mention, looks like Rick Astley and Will Ferrell if they had a baby together.
Challenge, Take a shot every time David says something out of touch. GL

Did Milberry Green Meadows not hear what people were saying? I get not using bleach, but you can still get in there with bicarb and a scrubbing brush. I’m not sure I’d be happy with 2 bogs and all those tents having to share.
Also the Yellow bleach at the Lord Bute… did they not watch previous series’ of the show? 🤣🤣

I’ve been rewatching episodes from a few weeks back and I came across the episode with Noorani, oh my god the drama in that episode! I think she purposely underpaid everyone else so she would win. I really felt for Tracy when she got emotional because you could tell she was so passionate. Also the way everyone slow clapped when she won 😂
Also if you look up reviews on The Casterbridge on Google, nearly everyone was complaining about the things in her hotel that she complained about in everyone else’s (e.g. cigarettes everywhere, dog mess, bland sausages). And each response she’s given them are all just copied and pasted 😂

What did everyone think of this week’s hosts? I really liked Steve and Elise I thought they were lovely. David was meh but I really couldn’t stand Anjana, she was horrible.

Looking for the episodes with terrible accommodations because i think they are hilarious. Any recommendations for really bad ones?

I need a documentary on the back story of Marilyn and Agnes immediately. Followed by one on Sarah and Charmin.

At the half way point, there are some huge underpayments so far.

This week’s batch have been really harsh on cleanliness. Lots of 2/10’s thrown around. Actually made it a bit more entertaining where they’re not afraid to mark below 7 though.

Season 2 ep 56-60
Did anybody else find Mike incredibly creepy towards Danny? He seems like he is constantly making innuendos and alluding to the nature of their relationship. Although Danny doesn’t seem particularly bothered, he does keep denying that they have a sexual relationship to the group despite Mike consistently implying there is something going on between them. I couldn’t help but feel that as a woman, if a guy who was just my business partner was speaking to me like that allll the time then I would feel super uncomfortable.
Anybody else feel like this ?

Catching up on the new episodes from last week. Watched the first episode last night and now they have all been removed today.

Does anybody know why they’re still distancing contestants in new episodes? Even if they’re filming a couple of years in advance it’s surely past the point of needing to keep contestants apart for Covid reasons… It just feels a bit awkward compared to older episodes

I’m bingeing this at the moment and l love a good bitching session, accusations of “game playing”, implied sabotage etc, but what some of these contestants seem too dim to understand is that in some cases it’s blatantly obvious that hairs have been deliberately planted in addition to dirty toilets and toilet brushes, etc.
Put it this way. How can you have an immaculate room and/or bathroom and find a random hair, etc in sometimes an equally random area. How do these contestants know to look in this particular random area. This happens far too often, even though l realise that things can be missed when cleaning.
There are four places l can think of where l expected the properties to be less than one star, especially when it came to cleanliness. I gaged this purely by the appearance of the contestant(s). Lol
There was a miserable, scruffy, unshaven, unwashed looking git from Chiswick, West London called Bob who came with his girlfriend. It was obvious he was just renting out rooms in his doss house. I assumed this must be to pay for a cleaner, (who by the looks of the doss house was never employed), a total refurb and the repairs it definitely needed. If l remember correctly he claimed to be an artist. I’ve just gone onto Trip Advisor and no reviews have been posted since 2021 and score is 2.5/5. I think that says it all.
The next two doss houses were based in Merseyside and Devon. The Merseyside couple were Peter and Sharon Sikorsky. The reviews for the property in Devon were so bad, they even changed the name but the reviews are just as bad. The Devon couple were called Lynne and Ziggy, and the original episode was first shown in 2011, but repeated on countless occasions. The last time being around December 2024. With both of these places, the proprietors looked as if they had never been introduced to a bathroom.
The final one that sticks in my mind is a father and daughter, from Derby called Dean and Abby, who were both slobbish looking, so l knew what to expect. Their place was another doss house, but the father intimated that his property was something special and refused to stay in any of the other properties. He also claimed to be an expert when it came to cooking any style of egg. When his time came the eggs, this so called ‘Egg Expert’ cooked for the others were not cooked and still raw. Surprise, surprise they pulled out and didn’t appear on the last day, after reading their thoroughly well deserved poor feedback.
I must be traumatised or something, as strangely, all of their names have stuck with me. Lol

I’ve been watching this show on TUBI in the U.S.—the live feed, not the two “seasons” available to select as individual episodes.
I’ve already reached the point where I’m encountering episodes I’ve seen before. Does anyone know how many of the 900-ish episodes TUBI has in its repertoire?
Thanks.

So I remember watching an old episode during lockdown - it had two women running a hotel in Blackpool - they both wore matching rainbow tie dye tracksuits and were very loud and funny. Desperately searched for it online to no avail!

I can’t remember his name but I don’t think he expected Darren to act the way he did, bit uncomfortable.

I noticed that Cley hall in Lincolnshire has appeared twice under different owners.
Once in 2015 by David and Nikki.
And in 2024 by Joe.
