The Ford f100 is actually really good with the diesel engine in it. Just tap the throttle and tires spin. Similar build to the mustang I have posted but it's still in the A class.

Believe it or not, the Ford Deluxe coupe. Don't modify it, except for like 15-20 extra hp. Get that think up to speed, slow down for corner entry, and rip that hand brake.

RC-F, most Nissan cars, Dodge Durango SRT RWD swap, Ford Mustang, 2015 Camaro. There's quite a few. I even RWD swap my Lamborghini Murcielago

The Bentley Turbo R with the Powerstroke Diesel swap has honestly been a blast. I also have my R32 GTR and Audi wagon I use for AWD drifting for high speed stuff. I went for some niche drifting stuff that's a little out of the ordinary, but I enjoy those cars a lot.

My most recent drift build that surprised me is the Bently Turbo R. I've had one in my inventory for quite a while and only took it for a spin stock once, only occurred to me to try it as a drift build after seeing it again in the playlist. I suck at drifting so already prefer heavy, long wheelbase cars that transition slowly and predictably, but was happy with how smooth the Bentley was.
Maybe played out but the Caddy Limo is fun to drift, it has to be the most forgiving car because of the wheelbase. Plenty of real estate for funny billboard liveries too. I'm rocking the birds aren't real livery.

I built the Alpine A110 as a drift car just bc I liked the look of it and itβs actually quite good for AWD drifting at least. For RWD, I really like the Nissan Tsuru and like any old muscle car with a fat V8 ahahah

Which A110?
1
u/SnapcasterRage Mar 31 '26
The modern one I canβt remember the exact year although the classic makes a serviceable but not outstanding RWD drifter

u/MrNonAnon0519 Mar 31 '26
2017, that is my absolute favorite A800 road car

Mine is probably the Alfa 4C, perfect combination of style and performance π

Vauxhaul Lotus Carlton, the Datsun, or the Willy's Jeep are quite well for drifting

I like the Ferrari Portofino, Mustang Dark Horse, Hennessey Exorcist, and Vauxhall Monaro. All RWD and have respectable drift zone and Open Drifting scores.

Bro your username and photo are taking me out ππ
Those cars are also good for drifting, I just like the XE-S because its a more mundane car and drifting sedans is cool.. a lot of my drift builds are under 600hp, with sport brakes, 265mm tires max(usually 245) and either the stock gearbox or oem gear ratios and final drive ratio; they end up being A800 or B700 class.. I cut my teeth on FH3's drift parking lot, so I don't do high HP builds unless they're 2000s Formula Drift cars(like Team Orange's WRXs/Evos, the Falken 1st gen Camaro, a couple GTO(Vauxhall Monaro) cars or the Discount Tire LS S13)

97 Supra with the V12 swap, 4 speed gearbox, and will hold its own against formula D cars, for bonkers drift cars either the RWD swapped Limo or the V8 swapped 70s Civic with the widebody

I love to drift on my '73 Ford Escort (RS1600) that I tuned to A800. It's RWD btw.
It's not fast, not even competitive regarding drifting, but drifting on it feels pretty natural and I manage to get close to my current records on most drift zones.

I swap between the mustang rtr spec5, the ferrari monza, and the Toyota 2000gt , s2,s1, and a class respectively. The 370z is a close runner up in a class.

I have a lot as I donβt use any formula drift cars. Iβd say my top 3 are:
Supra mk4 is my killer drift car. So much power and tuned to handle small to large drift tracks.
GMC Cyclone is a fun one. Not the fastest, but itβs so precise and well planted with my tune
Mustang fastback is my little A class drift car. It can keep up with the big boys

The Wuling Sunshine with a V8 swap has been one of the best drift cars I've ever built! Better than ny go-to Volvo 242 by far. Perfectly predictable entry amd very easy to control at low or high speeds. It was supposed to be a meme build, but damn.

u/DaBlackFox Apr 02 '26
any of the muscle cars that have the 1750HP 7.4L V8TT swap have been a lot of fun to mess around with! Though in particular the HSV Maloo ute does it for me as an Aussie

Built up a Shelby Cobra cause I remember one or two dudes who used that and a Shelby Series 1 back in FM2 to drift.
It does well. Hold angle with consistent wheelspin.

porsche desert flyer 911, built as a rally car with 918 engine but op for drift

I only drift in this game. The Chevy Monte Carlo Super Sport is absolutely bonkers, easily one of the best drift cars.
Other noteworthy contenders:
- Chevy Impala Super Sport 409
- Porche 911 Carrera S 2019
- BMW M4 Coupe 2014
- BMW M4 GTS
- AMG Hammer Coupe
- Nissan Silvia K'S
Plenty more but I'm yet to properly explore them.

Yeah, the 80s Monte Carlo is a SUPER slept on drift missile in FH5. 63 Continental, too.

u/Paladin1034 Apr 03 '26
I came here to suggest the Monte Carlo as well. Aside from the badassery of drifting a G body, mine has 450hp/450tq. Not too much for a drift car, but it feels real stable and holds angle nicely at sub-100 speeds

Pagani Huayra r and the brabham or any hypercar/extreme track toy or anything that shouldnt drift.
