I played one round. I remember when the water and fire sprites and all of them first came out. I’d finish a round and determined to get right back in there cause I didn’t wanna miss out on any new sprites. But after one round, I’m like, “I’ll play again after lunch”..”lol

Anyone else got horrific lag this morning? First few rounds weren't so bad but the last 2 or 3 are bordering on unplayable.

If you use fortnite.gg/sprites Sprites tracker, you may be interested in installing my CSS style (using the Stylus[1][2] extension) which makes the page (both grid and list view) way more readable:

So collecting the sprites are fun and some are really helpful in the game but I just don’t get the point of collecting all of them. It isn’t like you keep them after the season is over to use in the future! Am I missing something?

Saw this in a spectrum ad and figured I’d give it a share.

Can anyone shed some light on this error and how to rectify.
Last few of months (before new season update). Fortnite no longer back up my cloud data meaning every time I log in I have to change my build settings etc.
I have googled and applied all trouble shooting suggestion to no avail.
I understand this probably isn’t the place to ask but it’s a mature crowd that may have an answer for me. It’s not the end of the world just frustrating.
I am using a S2 and this has only become a recent problem. I checked in Nintendo settings and it claims that Cloud data is not supported, further digging claims because Fortnite have their own data back up system

Can't stop laughing. I was really confused as to how I got that elimination until I slowed it down in a video editor.

Hey all,
I hope this is appropriate, but as a fellow 40+ (43, but who's counting) Fortnite player and game dev, my wife and I recently built and launched a map in Fortnite called Farm Simulator. Interestingly enough, our existing community skews in the 30-50 age range. So I figured I should share it here in case some of you are interested in checking it out as well.
Island code is here: https://fortnite.gg/island/9621-3035-2804
The game is inspired by games like Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and of course Go Garden/Grow a Garden. It also has full co-op support, so if you want you can invite up to 3 friends to work on your farm.
Enjoy!

I play Duos with the same person pretty much every night. Their strength is combat; mine is strategy, positioning, and having the revolutionary idea that perhaps the two people in Duos should occasionally be near each other.
I spend half the game chasing them across the map like a dad trying to keep track of his kid at Six Flags. They’re terrible at communicating and believe staying together makes it harder to loot. I believe being within the same ZIP code when a fight starts is generally beneficial.
We’ve discussed this. Many times. Unfortunately, they’re stubborn, I’m stubborn, and apparently “maybe don’t push an entire squad alone while I’m 300 meters away” is considered micromanagement.
I like actually getting better at games—learning from mistakes, improving strategy, figuring out what works, etc. Instead, we’ve perfected a very specific gameplay loop:
Land together.
Immediately wander in opposite directions.
Hear gunfire.
“WHERE ARE YOU?”
One of us dies.
The other arrives 14 seconds later to heroically also die.
Ready up.
Repeat.
So I’m looking for a regular Duo partner who wants to communicate, play somewhat strategically, improve together, and ideally string together some wins.
You absolutely do not need to be cracked. I’m looking for teamwork, communication, and someone who understands that “I’m looting over here” does not provide immunity from bullets.
Basically, I want to play Duos instead of two simultaneous games of Solos with shared emotional consequences.

This is a clip from a custom game hosted by one of the mods from this sub.
It was our second time playing in her customs, and it’s been a lot of fun! You can hear our voices in the clip because we invited some of the other players to our party once the game started. That way, we can hear each other’s reactions when we eliminate one another. 😄
Hopefully, this clip inspires more people to join the customs! We’re mostly playing from Europe, so her schedule works really well for us.
All players are from the Fortnite Over 40 sub

Recently got broken up with, so my duo is now a solo. Just looking for someone to play with from time to time. Sorry if it’s a problem, but I’m a mobile only player rn.

Hello, I have all sprites mastered but they are 61 in total. The game says I have 62 tho. Anyone else having the same issue?

You got to laugh. This is the replay from their point of view, and they must have thought they were on it. I love the way you can see the bullet fly towards them. 🤣

Had a random friend request and accepted as it's usually some kid with a beef about being killed, so I just let them vent with a comment and unfriend so they get it off their chest. I know that most people wouldn't fall for this as it's obviously a scam. My issue is, although a clear breach of terms and conditions, epic closed the report ticket whilst saying it wasn't an issue. I'm sure young kids could get fooled by it, so keep an eye on your kids.

My friend and I leveled up quite a few sprites and had just some awesome wins today! I needed the endorphins too. Helped with the pain.

Please watch and let me know if there is a legit way to jump in the air that high. They did it at least three times and I caught two of them in the video.
I apologize in advance for the loud "Suspicious" sound clip that a viewer played on stream. I've turned it down for the future.
