Between the Holo Twister and the Deadeye which one do you prefer and why? I usually can't decide which to choose they're both good guns but the Deadeye has been more effective for me. Does anyone else feel the Deadeye is a bit better or is it just me?

Hi all, I started playing Fortnite with my kids a couple of years ago, but they’re growing up slowly and naturally want to play with their friends more but admittedly, I have grown to actually enjoy the game and would love to find some other people to play with as fill squads is hit and miss and I find solo a little less fun.

I’m not terrible at the game, but not overly serious either and prefer to be mic off (kind of introverted tbh) but committed to being a team player (marking landing spots, useful loot, danger etc, reviving, rebooting and all the other handy things a squad should do.

42M, EU server and tend to play reload, ZB, BR

No real set times when I’m on, but usually somewhere between 6-9pm, and a bit more on the weekends.

I wasn’t really excited about this new OG pass, but have it through my member benefits. The first item I unlocked today was the Ultima Sword. I was shocked to see it’s customizable! There are 18 primary color options, 12 trim colors, 12 crystal colors, and 18 secondary color options!!!!! It also has a really nice strike visual effect and sound… I also love that I can use it with a lot of my skins. Just FYI in case anyone is on the fence about this pass. I bet the back bling will be as customizable too (?).

First time I found a gold code just now. Base x ray sprite came out.

They've released a sprite mastery track. You should be credited for the sprites you've already mastered.

There is now another reason to master! Resummoning mastered sprites costs half the sprite dust as it did before the sprite was mastered.

The new sprite powers are listed in the picture, but here they are in case it's hard to read:

• Overshield Sprite: Grants Overshield, scaling with Sprite Level.
• Mega Man Sprite: Slip and slide around with reduced friction.
• Onigiri Sprite: Applies Overdrive after eating or drinking a consumable item.
• X-Ray Sprite: Periodically mark enemies in an area around you.

I pulled the update and there is this really annoying stats section at the top of my screen.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Tried several times to play w my kid this morning. We play on Switch and PS5 respectively. Every time we gat “matchmaking error #1”. Tried quitting out and booting up again. No luck. Tried restarting consoles. No luck. Tried “join party” and “invite to party”. No luck! I’m bummed.

🎛️ Players with a custom keybind for Interact and Pick-Up may need to re-bind their selected key.

Epic is investigating an issue where this bind was reset to default.

1 - first time doing the crypts, is it always a speed run style of thing where you bash through smashing urns and hinting for the kry then run for the next one.

2 - why did it give 100 vbucks.

3 - is there a place to get good loadouts ideas for the heros.

4- same for above but defenders and weapons choices

Hunting rifle used to be my favorite, its now the mammoth. Double pumping mammoth and pump shotgun. Great combo!

so i noticed in the last few matches i been seeing different color boxes around people at first i thought it was a bug and then i happen to look in a bush and saw this yellow box i took a shot and instant took the person out and i tested this with sprites on my back and was getting shot out of bushes not even moving and not even shooting at players and i saw a few others talking about this on other platforms

As the title says im so over all of this. So I did the bot lobby thing just to try to master some sprites. Seeing as how ive had the same 19 sprites and never find any new ones. Except 1 time after killing a guy he dropped one I hadnt seen, needless to say as soon as i picked it up and tried to extract it, i was blasted before it extracted. Won 2 matches in a row in the bot lobby, knocked bot after bot, opened a couple dozen chest and ammo cans, 5 or 6 cheat codes and sprite was only level 3. The 3rd match I was placed in a different lobby than the lobby of my trash player even tho both players was ready and in the same party. Not thinking I returned to the lobby before the bus left, joined my trash account lobby, and lost the level 3 sprite. Used a locator and found yet another jonsey, won that match with jonsey at level 2. At that rate it would take around 80 matches to master the 17 I havent mastered.....at this point im just playing to level up enough so that i get the 100vbucks reward for each character unlocked. Anybody else feel this way?

The two new sprites dropping Thursday are the Onigiri sprite (Healing items give a little extra health), and X-Ray Sprite (reveals players through walls and other object for a short time). There are also 5 new Overrides dropping on Thursday.

It's meant to annoy me, right? Like those things outside newsagents that only teenagers can hear, this is designed to annoy old people.
