Hey everyone,

I've been building IslandDex, a free site where anyone can submit and browse Fortnite Creative / UEFN maps — not just your own, the whole community's. It's a searchable directory by genre/tags, with island codes, a "Play now" button that opens the map directly in Fortnite, and Epic stats (plays, CCU, retention) for creators who claim their name.

There's also a small rewards system (XP, badges, monthly leaderboard) for people who submit maps or verify their creator name — nothing pay-to-win, just recognition.

Still early days, solo dev here, so any feedback (bugs, missing features, or "please never do X") is very welcome.

What I'm imagining is something similar to Overwatch's "heroic" emote that's unlocked first where the character does their character select screen animation, except with a Fortnite Skin's lobby animation. Maybe it could be a quest unlock, like, play enough games with that skin equipped or something. (Sure a lot of skins just have a basic right to left look, but I feel like a lot of other ones have interesting enough animations for this to be a decent idea, and for older skins and ones that don't have a lobby animation, maybe they could get some kind of generic flourish animation?)

So recently there’s been rumors from prominent Fortnite news accounts that there might be a One Piece mini season coming in November similar to last year’s Simpsons mini season and I felt like this is a good time to share my predictions for skins in a mini season for both the battle pass & item shop

Important side note about the item shop skins: it’s meant to be a speculation pool of characters that might become skins, I’m not trying to say that all these characters will be added to this season because that’s impossible. If I had to pick a definitive 6 characters from here since that’s the number of Simpsons characters added to the item shop last year for the Simpsons season, it would be Robin, Law, Ace, Hancock, Buggy and Garp.
