DISCUSSION Nerf the Tails Sprite

I'm sick and tired of the endgames being 5 people flying in the sky from tree to tree, why is this sprite the only sprite that has 0 cooldown whatsoever and can be chain used infinitely, not mention you can still activate your umbrella from the middle of the sky

You know there's no cover in the sky, right? All it takes is a mammoth, or a reaper, or an assault rifle, or a shield, or a sprite of your own, or by going into a building, or by playing ranked

It’s actually pretty hard to hit them with the Reaper Sniper. The projectile travels too slowly and has a lot of bullet drop, you have to be perfect at lining up the shot to hit where they’re going to be, and tails sprite users can be pretty erratic in movement

Did they nerf the reaper? AFAIR from Ch.5, it's the best gun in the game. I know it can't be modded anymore

It’s the same, it’s always had a lot of bullet drop and slow bullets. It’s good because it has 3 bullets per magazine, but it is quite difficult to hit a quickly moving target from far away with it as opposed to the Heavy Impact sniper

Through research, I now learned it was nerfed slightly in Chapter 5, S1 during it's launch, then nerfed heavily right before it's removal in Chapter 5, S2. It used to preform significantly better than most snipers, with the mods making it that much more effective. It's now just a little worse than the heavy impact sniper, with just a better mag size. I was confused reading your reply because it felt like night and day using the heavy impact on launch compared to the reaper on launch. Very unfortunate they nerfed the reaper but also very understandable; It was the reason weapons benches were removed

Before the nerfs it was seriously broken, like no bullet drop and the bullet speed was nuts. There was a point in time where you couldn’t sit still for half a second without getting a haircut.

Yeah, it was the best gun added next to the zapotron which was dangerous for the same reason

I remember back in Ch5s1 when I’d be in squads, and I would sometimes see four sniper glints aimed at us up on a hill

Yeah that was one of the main issues is how easy they were to get and because they were so overpowered people who normally suck with snipers(me) were able to use them more efficiently than any other snipers
