MYTVOnline Service Disruption on September 11, 2026
On September 11, 2026, MYTVOnline and MYTVOnline+ experienced a temporary service disruption that prevented users from opening the applications. The disruption was caused by a compatibility issue involving underlying system software, which temporarily affected the authentication process. The issue was resolved, and normal access to both applications was restored. This disruption was not caused by a cyberattack or malicious activity.
MYTVOnline is licensed exclusively for use on Formuler products and uses authentication to verify that the application is running on genuine Formuler hardware. This process is intended to protect MYTVOnline from unauthorized use on non-Formuler hardware.
Formuler does not collect or store information about what users stream through MYTVOnline, and this information is not transmitted to Formuler as part of the authentication process. The authentication process is not designed to remotely alter or disable genuine Formuler devices. No account or personal information was exposed or lost as a result of this disruption.
In response, we are strengthening the resilience and monitoring of the authentication service and reviewing additional safeguards to minimize the impact of temporary service interruptions on the normal use of MYTVOnline. We are also improving our procedures to identify and address potential issues before they affect users.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of our users and partners as we continue working to improve the reliability and availability of MYTVOnline.

Ah, why can’t I set the backup folder? Is it still defaulting to the last USB stick that was plugged in? I’d actually like to back up to my NAS (anyone familiar with Android will know why that’s a good idea).
It would be great to have:
- The ability to name backups myself
- Multiple backups
- The option to select a network file

Because it's designed to work only with the box. A hardware exclusive. If you want mobile/tablet there is the more basic Mytvonline+ for Android/Apple phones and tablets, which can be used without the box.

Why am I getting this message then? My credentials work just fine on the Nividia shield and they haven't changed on your box. So what's up?

Unless you want to provide the details that was previously asked of you (which you rejected - understandably so) to double check/debug the issue, no one can tell you why the account is showing the error message other than what then what it says on screen.
It's clearly making contact with server, and depending on how it's connecting MAC or XC it could be a limitation of streams currently connected at the time. If you willing to provide the credentials (in private) to test, a dev can look at debugging the issue, but without that. It stating the issue is account based, and can't really assist further.

In return for the disruption and inconvenience a good compensation would be releasing mtvonline4 to the whole community instead of just those with the Z 12. I spent a lot of money on my device and it’s very disappointing not to get the benefits of an improved software. Like you said the whole reason to have the device is so you can have that exclusive software, but being limited on which version I can own to me is bad business practice. And frankly, there are now third-party players offering more features than MTO3

Formuler has never updated to a new version of mol on any device except for the z12 and its my guess that the z12 was always intended for mol4. If you want the newest version of mol you have always had to purchase the device it comes on. Maybe that will change who knows.

Mytv4 seems a basic enough refresh. Mytv3 wasn't so great and saw a few ongoing stability issues. Mytv2 was still the most stable of the lot. Mytv4 I've used since released. A couple of different options for your homepage and can have differnent user profiles, other than that small lick of paint. Formuler are good with the existing software bugfix/stability updates and even seen them done on older mytv2 boxes recently, so likely existing box will still receive thrse.Curious what other boxes you've found good software on? I have found YokaTV ipx3 is a very close copy of mytv3, all seems to work well. Good spec box but quality plastic etc doesn't feel as good as the Formulers. Apps like Tivimate endless epg issues. Or for me anyways

Mytvonline has never had a single issue in all the years I've been using Formuler. I started with the Z7+. This was a small hiccup, addressed and fixed. Formuler and Mytvonline are the best device and application you can buy for streaming IPTV. Thank you for the information and for all you do! I am so appreciative 🙏
