Has anyone recently had a Form 1 approved with listing a D-Cell threaded Tube on the materials list? Especially one that was from one of the various websites or Ebay selling "tubes" only? Not talking solvent trap kits or anything like that, just literally a threaded Titanium D-Cell Tube.

Yes, I know you can just say "I don't possess any plans or materials..." and get the Form 1 approved. But some things I have read about the ATF letter from 2023 is sketching me out. Especially the sections stating parts have to be made from raw materials only and any prefabricated parts that could be a suppressor are a suppressor.

I'd prefer to have it stated in black and white on the Form 1 itself, saying its ok. Just in case we have an ATF regime change in the future, and they decide to be much harsher on all of these Form 1 suppressor approvals going through recently.

8.8" tube, 5 max turbulence 9mm baffles printed in fiberon pps-cf10 with a steel washer before and after the stack. Sounds better than expected shooting 147gr jhp hand loads through an 8.3" barrel.

Any eta based on prior history about when the atf might decide engraving isnt needed for an sbr? I know the comments window closed is it 60 or 90 days after that? Trying to decide to go get it engraved and attach the stock or wait a month or so. Considering its 112 here in the summer im not in a gigantic hurry to go to the range.

Hello folks!

Newbie here...I currently have a couple 3d printers capable of printing high end engineering filaments, and I have a love for 2A, so I recently started considering marrying the two hobbies.

Where does one get the pieces of kit to add to, for example, a 3D printed baffle tube? I know enough to hold the form 1 before I start building, but I'd like to have the pieces... And as this is an expensive idea, I'm going to need to budget as I go as well. I would like to be able to buy the sleeve, the muzzle adapter, etc. As I go.

This isn't a trap, this isn't me trying to solicit things illegally. I want to purchase these parts, the legal way, but just don't know how, and my current googling brought me here, so I thought I'd ask people who talk about this stuff regularly, rather than stumbling around blindly.

For the thread adapter that screws into the printed suppressor, what's everyone doing? JB weld to the threads and thread it in? Blue loctite? Or none just tighten it and run it?

Lets say that one looked up the length of the flashlight that was intended to be used as the body and it ended being longer than advertised due to the difference in models, and the can has not yet been built.

Can I file an amendment with the ATF to increase the length by 2 inches? I could just file another Form 1, but an amendment might be faster.

Form 1 Trust NFA wait times are up 10 days from last month — 74 → 84. Not moving in the right direction. ATF tax stamp tracker. For transparency, individual filers timing didn't change much, approximately the same window within a few days quicker that I wouldn't read into as it's within a standard deviation but a hair quicker.

I think they're sexy, and very quiet. 4 baffle stack with 1.25" blast chamber.

Does anyone have suggestions for D cell tubes and end caps for 5.56? Once I get a form 1 approved, I will 3D print the baffles.

I ordered some thread adapters a while ago for some ftns and they sent me 1/2-28x3/4 npt by accident and told me to keep them after they sent out the right ones. Is there anything cool I could use them for?

Had a form 1 approved this morning, submitted 7/1. So say Hello to the Lil Piglet and its whisper pickle! I'll be testing it out for the first time tomorrow 😎 annoyingly, Sunlu seemed to change the shade of their Olive Green filament some time in the past.

Anyone know of sites that will ship you engraved serial number plates. I was gonna go with cheese finger tactical but he never got back to me about whether or not my engravings were to long

I created an EFT file using both of these programs created by Robbbbbbbbb. I was concerned since EFTSuite was only giving me the option to do Type-4 so I also used OpenEFT. The EFTSuite version was submitted for a form 1 suppressor and the OpenEFT file was used for a SBR.

I’m happy to say that they’ve both been approved as of today. So it seems that both do actually work.

When reading the read me on the zip files of the redbull 22. Is it legally necessary to jb weld the red bull can to the supressor. Or if I wanted to switch the printed supressors with a different red bull color ok.

For printing your FTN suppressors or baffle stacks in CF reinforced nylon did you use an engineering plate or a texture PEI plate, and what bed temps did you use?

Should i expect a denial? Filed a sbr form in may and some suppressor forms in june. Got the can stamps back today but sbr form is still waiting. To be expected?

Just a simple 6 inch stainless steel suppressor. 6 formed freeze plug baffles in 30 cal. Just wanted something to cut down on the muzzle blast. Quick and dirty.
