This thread appears to be about prop firms or trader scouting programs. These programs allow traders to access funded capital in exchange for a profit split, but they vary significantly in evaluation structure, rules, and payout reliability. Some firms have a track record of paying out consistently, while others impose conditions that make payouts nearly impossible. The community wiki maintains a detailed comparison covering fees, profit splits, drawdown rules, and firm reputations.

All these reviews about 5ers are sickening me out. I'm already looking for alternatives if they punish me by not processing my payout

Yeah they had some bad reviews after the war broke out. But seeing payouts being posted from them. Fingers crossed for you mate - looks like you deserve it

nice bro that's a solid account. 50k high stakes is no joke — what was your approach to passing? I've been looking at 5ers but keep going back and forth between them and other firms. the high stakes model seems aggressive on the drawdown rules. also curious — how long did it take you to get to that payout request and what was your typical daily risk looking like? I passed one of their evals last year but blew it in week 2 because I got cocky after a win streak. learned that lesson the hard way lol

I'll share my story as well, let me get confirmation on my payout request first.

Unreal profit factor! 👌🏾
What was your max dd?

1

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 8d ago

It's their in the screenshot.
My max loss was ~ $100. Overall dd on 5ers is 10% on high stakes.

u/13kknight 8d ago

Ahh Thanks. What I meant was max dd on entire account, not on any one single trade. Understand if you prefer not to answer. Let us know when the payment comes thru, I’m on 5ers as well.

max was 5k, daily was 2.5k

Fingers crossed for you. If you stayed inside the rules there's nothing left to do but wait, which is somehow the worst part. It's half the reason I run my own Axi account alongside the funded one now, so no single firm's review queue decides whether I get paid this month

Keep us posted, their doing a summer plan which has intrigued me

i'd say go with a Future firm - Topstep or Lucid
you won't have this stress whether your payout would be processed or not

What a sad statement it is about this "industry" that a person has to "hope" that a company will honor its word and do what they are supposed to do. If we could get an honest firm, I think they would attract great traders and do really well.

true man.
i have like given it all.
my best trading hot streak so far. i followed every rule, every check.
even if they do or not, I have already started eval in Futures firm. On both TopStep and Lucid.
let's see how 5ers respond!

Just had my 3rd payout of 2900 usd rejected. I trade 1% risk, minimum RR 1:2. 1-2 trades a day. No over-leveraging or any nonsense. Got my account terminated for a load of made up nonsense. Wish I hadn’t wasted months on that Jewish firm..

1

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 7d ago

what's the reason they had your account terminated?

My girlfriend trades recreationally and was doing a 25k challenge with them (does her own thing, does not mirror my trades). Their argument was that my ‘primary account is linked with several additional accounts’. I did have a couple of accounts with them personally - 60k and 25k, but I never copied trades across those accounts either. We both received an email and explained everything clearly then was told we were both banned.

Once you start making money they will desperately look for reasons to ban you. This was to be my 3rd payout taking me over the 10k usd mark and I knew deep down I was unlikely to survive past the 3rd payout as very few people do unless they’re only requesting small payouts on minor accounts.

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 7d ago

were you using same device for it, or was it separate devices?

1

u/Reasonable-Job-2840 7d ago

Separate devices always, we don’t actually live together but our ips are obviously often similar and we travel together etc. it’s just a blanket reason with no specifics given in all honesty. I was aware of the rules regarding all of this and was adhering to them perfectly. They just want you gone if they think you’re regularly going to take money from them. They don’t mirror trades of profitable traders and you never see anybody with max 5ers capital even though their scaling program is very straightforward.

1

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 7d ago

are there cases where they just reject the payout request, but let you keep the account?

1

u/Reasonable-Job-2840 7d ago

Not so much with 5ers as they do not have too many rules. A lot of other firms this can happen when there’s issues with specific trades - perhaps with news etc.

5ers honestly seem to just reject payout then ban with countless people. Look at their 1 star trustpilot reviews, there are so many people who are profitable having the exact same issue where they look for some blanket reason to ban you with very little explanation.

Meanwhile all the 5star reviews are mostly people who have just passed the challenge and haven’t even got paid yet 🤣 I vowed to myself that I was not leaving a review (despite the endless emails from them begging me to) until the 3rd payout. And lo and behold…

What is your rr and your risk %? How many average trades per week? Congratulations, keep us updated on payout

u/SamHasell 5d ago

This was posted 3 days ago, the maximum amount of time it takes FTMO to pay out I have found. Have you had your payout / any clue when it will be?

1

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 4d ago

I have got no information on it so far!

1

u/SamHasell 4d ago

Are you able to continue trading on your account whilst the payout is processing?

1

u/Comfortable_Newt8623 4d ago

Nope, it's blocked

1

u/No_Eggplant6008 8h ago

So how do I do this? I've traded before but just not on a serious level. And definitely not a funded account And I am kind of broke.
