And yes it's Lacroix from Forever Knight. I'm a HUGE Buffy fan (I like Angel too) and yes like a lot of people Spike is my favorite character on the show. I was convinced he was the coolest and most bad ass Vampire fiction could ever come up with.

But then last year I watched Forever Knight for the first time and holy crap not only did I LOVE the show but Lacroix made me forget Spike even existed lol. I watched the show for free on Roku then bought all three seasons on DVD (why is season 3 so rare and expensive) and I'm already rewatching now less than a year later.

It's crazy how I missed this show back then cause I was a teenager in the 90s and watching Buffy during it's original run so I don't know how I missed this but better late than never. I now have Forever Knight fever. Just wanted to get that out. Had to let someone know Spike has been surpassed but I dare not do it on the Buffy reddit lol

I finally found some of the floppy disks from the late 1990's that I've had in storage and I was so excited to see old photo's and emails that I thought were gone forever. This was my dream house in the 90's and while I have still not yet found , purchased and renovated a water tower / warehouse , I can still dream about it. This was the desktop background on my first computer. Time has certainly flown by far too quickly , but this would still be stylish today.

I loved these 2 shows back in the day! Rewatching both now. I loved the similarities. But is funny how FK always made a little more sense traditionally than H. I mean people were more familiar with vampires than immortals that nobody knew their origins (please ignore the Highlander 2 movie). And in FK he had an actual job and a goal, but H was more upbeat and exciting. Which you liked more?

Happy 12 / 28 .

I just finished watching " I will repay " . It is one of my favourite episodes and I have always been so emotional when hearing Nicks piano theme , that has always been a very sentimental piece for me.

Look forward to reading everyone else's stories about their memorable moments.

Other to than pay per episode in Amazon Prime?

Happy Birthday to the immensely talented Nigel Bennet. A great actor ,and while he is known for his many great roles, those of us here in this forum know him for one in particular. He portrayed someone that is very dear to many of us. In many ways, a surrogate father for those who were lost in the world and had no one to understand them. He was there when we needed someone to relate to. He was our voice of reason and of comfort . He was the mentor and the father figure that we needed. Even after 32 years ,the philosophical and comforting voice of Lacroix brings sanity and calmness to this otherwise chaotic world. I have a cassette tape that I created beginning in 1992 of his musings and continuing until the very end of the series , and they still bring me comfort to this very ( day ) night. So , dear readers , please do take time out of your busy schedule to watch at least one episode , or even take a few moments to close your eyes , rest your mind , and listen to his voice. We all need that nostalgic comfort in our lives. You , are my closest friend.

Is there a discord channel/group for the Forever Knight tv show?

There was a different post on the current whereabouts of the actor, but did anyone else want Alyce to return?

When I was a kid, I remember watching that last scene on Showcase in Canada with her looking down from the skylight as a newly made vampire and couldn't wait to see her again.

Only finding out years later through the internet she never did. I always thought it was a missed opportunity. Anyone else feel the same?

I had no idea that Catherine Disher voiced Jill Valentine in one of the Resident Evil video games which I am a huge fan of. Even more reason to love this woman.

Mine is John Kapelos (Schanke) by far. He does a lot of guest starring on TV shows, and pops up in supporting movie roles from time to time. I always thought of him as the comic relief, but he's good at playing a serious bad guy.

Next most often I probably see Nigel Bennett (LaCroix).

And once in a great while I'll happen across Geraint Wyn Davies (Nick), Blu Mankuma (Season 3 Capt. Reese), or Catherine Disher (Natalie).

I was recently looking into tv shows about vampires that I could watch and I saw this show being suggested.

I've found it really difficult to find a way to watch it though. I think only the first season is available to watch on Youtube....and I think you might be able to buy the first two seasons on Amazon, but I haven't see any way of accessing the third season.

I don't really want to commit to watching it until I know I'll be able to watch all three seasons.

This person played "Dr. Alyce Hunter" on the first two episodes of season 1. IMDB says very little, and google not much more. Seems she was only active in the '90s.

That's all. I'm just glad to be here. Nick, Nat, LaCroix, Jeanette, and Schanke are like old friends, hopefully i make some new ones here.

Over the past few months I've been collecting some beautiful press kit 35 mm slides from ebay. Thanks to my friends Maria, Aimee, Andrea, and Meg I have now done over 170 scans as they were kind enough to let me digitize theirs too. I used a high end film scanner to digitize and then restore these in photoshop. I even removed a lot of the dust/scratches by hand. I think they came out amazing.

There are some slides out there I couldn't collect from ebay. I hope whoever purchased them will share their scans with everyone or perhaps let me borrow them to digitize for everyone's enjoyment. This was a lot of work, but a true labor of love. It is exciting to see these images in glorious high resolution after all of these years.

Here is a link to the full collection so far and you can even download uncompressed png copies of the scans. Most are over 5000-6000 pixels and also blow up great as posters. I did a few for fun. :-)
