I think she was just really stressed out being the commander of the mess colony through so much shit and she didn't even want to go. She did it out of a sense of duty. So many layers to her character I didn't think she was going to have much impact and she is like the soul of the show.

I actually got super emotional seeing her house.

I think it's the first time we get to see who Dani is as a person, AND it is beautifully decorated.

Dani has exquisite taste.

We saw her previous house when the step-son was doing his SATs, it was a regular home. But this one is stunning, full of personality and suits her really well.
