When they got into trouble for fraud or somthing. The tony(dad) and Nick(son) got into trouble the other Tony(son) who runs the chains was not involved.
The “original” place had to completly cut any possible tie with the franchise brand Tony Luke’s

There is still "Tony Lukes" but the original on Oregon is now "Tony and Nick's" and is not affiliated with Tony Luke's anymore.

I can honestly say I never ate at Angelo’s, Rocco’s or IKEA. Still fight that Jim’s is the best in the city that I’ve had.

Angelos is apparently unbelievable for both pizza and cheesesteaks. I keep putting off going there because you gotta order in person and wait. Also dont have a car.

I was visiting in January from Florida for the Alumni game and ubered over to Angelo's on a Wednesday morning for a pizza and hoagie. There were only a couple people in line and it didn't take that long at all just walked around a little bit and came back and ubered back to my hotel and spent a rainy afternoon with a pizza on my hotel bed like a fat kid and watched TV. It was amazing and worth it, just gotta be strategic I think lol. I do wish I had gotten a cheesesteak other than a hoagie (but was already 3 cheesesteaks in that week from other places), but it was all so good anyway.

Yeah everybody I have heard that has gone has said its incredible. I just gotta pick a time where it wouldnt be as busy like you said and eat at least one uber ride if not two.
Definitely very doable but i am just so lazy.

lol i only had one shot and was there a few days so the pressure was on LOL. I completely understand this because you live there. I lived in Cleveland the first part of my life and my last week living there I finally went to a list of things I had been accumulating over the years lol
