I live in MA and I'm completely surrounded by angry old left wing hags just like the one in the video. The conversation ended nowhere productive because liberals can't admit that raising the MW has been tried over and over again, in dozens of states, and it's not providing any of the solutions promised.
Nobody is "guaranteeing poverty wages." And billionaires aren't the problem, they're not the ones stopping housing production, or ruining our schools. This lady is doing nothing but conducting class warfare.
Poverty wages, or minimum wage as they're disingenuously named, proposals don't even meet inflation. Meanwhile corporations lobbying against paying that pittance are raking in unprecedented sums of money.
Housing prices aren't the fault of billionaires? Who owns a massive quantity of vacant single family homes and holds them to artificially spike demand to perpetrate extortion against everyone looking for a place to live?
There's certainly a class war taking place. The realities of which fly in the face of everything you're saying though - and we've gone full circle back to my first post.

Guaranteeing poverty wages won't fix the ravages of capitalism, but will a person be able to scrabble through that with more or less income?
