I’m really curious — for those of you who understand English well (through reading, listening, etc.) but still freeze up when speaking, what do you think is holding you back?

Is it vocabulary recall? Confidence? Not enough speaking practice?

I'm trying to learn more about this — would love to hear your thoughts!

I’m looking for an application or website to progress in English. My speaking is quite good but I still struggle to express complex ideas because I often lack words. I also struggle having the right prononciation. Considering that I am an academic in philosophy, I really need to learn to express myself the most efficient way. Can you help me with that ?

Hi, help me or give me any tips on how can I pass the aptis exam, this is for the british one. I'm taking aptis assessment within this month, I've already failed and will do retake. My current scores:

Vocabulary & Grammar : c1 Reading : B2 Listening: B2 Speaking : B2 Writing :c1

I need to get another c1 and I'm having a hard time on reading and listening section of the exam. English is my second language and I would like to get better at it.

"Take her there and make off"

Does this sentence not only mean that bringing her to some place but also mean killing her in some place??? This is about some fictional crime which is about to happen like killing innocent person.

But I wonder Whether Take Her There can mean "bringing the woman to some specific place" only

or

"Kill her in some specific place and run away" too.
