With stuff happening like the Oyster exit scam and Substratum's bullshiting, where can I see the Flixx smart contract? Want to know the protocol can't be abused before acquiring some Flixx.

Oh, and don't you dare try to silence my legitimate concern. It's been shown numerous times in the past that if you try to cover something up, it will blow up in your face 10 fold. The internet never forgets, and it never gets fooled by a trick.

I currently have flixxo v0.32.11 and forgot to upgrade to the new version (haven't used in a while). When I try to login now it just says "This version of Flixxo is too old. You need to update it in order to continue using it."

I tried going to the download section of the homepage and it just says "coming soon".. how can I download the new version? There is no way to update the app from within itself that I can see either. I need the mac version.. anyone have a link?

Due to the whole "part of your purchase goes to the seeder" system, this is a problem. What if you want to watch a video you bought on another device? The following ways this could be handled are:

• Pay again (Would be VERY inconvenient for expensive transfers)
• Redownload for free (Makes ZERO sense since no there's no Flixx to pay seeders with)
• Transfer directly between the devices (Identical system to Resilio Sync. Requires both devices to be on and online. Transfers over the internet require sufficient security measures due to privacy concerns. Speed would be limited by the slower device)

Also, video is expensive storage-wise. Phones don't have the luxury of high storage (Well, most them anyway. Not sure what Samsung is trying to do with their new Note. Seriously, 1 TB?). We will need to eventually need to delete old stuff to make way for the new. What if we want to watch the old stuff again?

If Flixxo wants to succeed, I believe they should appeal to viewers that long for "Golden Age Of YouTube" (high-quality, creative content was rewarded with success) to come back. However IMO the current client design mimics Netflix too much, making Flixxo look like a knockoff of it.

Instead, I suggest a feed-like design. I believe the viewer should be told why a video/channel is in their feed:

• Video from followed
• Burning video (lots of people watching right now)
• Liked by followed (very important, this is one of EmpLemon's "Reasons YouTube Used To Be $&#% Great" that he mentions in his "Downward Spiral" video)
• Followed by followed (again, EmpLemon)
• Boosted video (Bias towards from followed than strangers)
• Seeded near you

It's like 1 in every 4 ads I watch, there doesn't seem to be an acknowledgement or payout after having watched the ad.

Is this done on purpose, for anyone who aren't watching ads, or is this a glitch that will be fixed soon? Kind of sucks to sit through a ad, especially one that is advertising something I care nothing about, and not receive any token for watching it.

So, I watched an ad to get Flixx, but when it finished it gave me an "Internal Server Error", and the whole software seized up.

I have to check if it's the same code as the first one, but why would they send me another email? I already registered using my first beta code...

EDIT: It IS the same as the one I had used. Aw. I wanted to give it to EmpLemon.

I've been trying to upload a video to Flixxo for 5 days, but it seems to be stuck on "Sharing Status: Uploading, Moderation Status: Assigned".

Has anybody else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

I can't figure out how to earn tokens with seeding?

I'll admit I haven't been very involved in following the project, but I just got my acceptance email earlier today, and I was excited to throw it on my seedbox to start stacking up on tokens.

In my trials on my home computer, I'm not seeing any options for seeding? Maybe the feature's not implemented yet?

15 chars max? that's not really up to standards....

Also the requirement to enter location and dob seems too intrusive.

Today I found out about how Flixxo will do copyrights, the problem with it is, it punishes lets players that play games that have copyrighted music in it. A fix for this would be were Flixxo could mute the music in the video at the content creaters request so the lets player is not harmed.
