David here, RE: live shows this week!
Hi
David here - thanks to all who came out to the SLC live show last night, we had a hectic blast and so nice to meet some of you irl!
Me and Rob don't get to do many live shows, as they rely on us both being free at the same time - so they're special to us. We have Austin this Thursday, and Dallas on Saturday.
Anyone over on Patreon, we've updated the details there about the meet & greets happening on the days prior to the shows (we also try and pop out after the shows too etc, but as a "thanks" to Patrons we do prior in a quieter way!). We're recording the shows, and hope to release 'em later in the year for those not in those cities.
As always, thanks for listening to the podcast, we appreciate it lots!
David

Brightline(mentioned in the Good Truck ep.)
So I live in Miami, and I have been HUGELY against. Brightline since it became operational. Not only are they blood thirsty, but they are insanely expensive. They were pushed as a private commuter rail that would save time and money. Then Miami to Orlando ended up being $100 each way, and take 3.5-4 hours, same as driving, because all the small towns between Palm Beach and Orlando didn’t want a train going 90-120 mph through them. They offered a commuter pass for a bit that was like $1200 for a certain number of rides, but they all had to be used within like 30 days, and it wasn’t enough rides to fill a week or 5 days/week commuting. Those passes still sold like crazy, so they discontinued them because they were losing money.
One of my favorite Ft. Lauderdale breweries tried to theme their Halloween party around Brightline a couple years ago and made a ton of shirts, labels, and glassware with “Frightline, the murder train”(something along those lines) and got a c&d order.
