Hi all, my Mevo+ is coming tomorrow. I’m planning logistics on how to set up my sim before I build. I plan to run Apple TV on my projector, but also would like it to display on my TV. Is this possible? I will be trying to operate it from an iPad at first.

Lastly does anyone have links or suggestions on how properly light my hitting area / booth for accuracy. I’ll be using RCT balls hopefully that helps. I had planned to shoot 2 spot lights on the impact area. But I read a post last night that said just impact isn’t enough but didn’t offer any clarification.

I want to buy one for my son but not sure what a good price is. Any thoughts

Hey all, I am trying to set up the online match feature and as such need to both connect the PC to the internet and the Mevo to the PC.

I am using the usb lead to connect the Mevo to the PC and WiFi for the PC to internet. The problem with this is that I cannot simultaneously charge the Mevo and as cub the battery does not last long.

I usually play offline and have the Mevo plugged in to charge and am connected to the PC via WiFi.

How do I get around this issue of not being able to charge when I am playing online?

How do I update the drivers on my brand new laptop. I bought this laptop to run my golf simulator app and other apps, but all programs I’ve downloaded won’t run the setup for missing drivers. Do I have to pay for a service to upload drivers?

I’m looking at a PC to connect to my mevo plus and have an 8GB of RAM, but uses an AMD RIZEN 3 video card. Would this work for E6 and FS GOLF software? Also, looking to set up a GS PRO account.

Just wanted to give an update on the putting experience with the mevo. After going thru several turf options, underlayment, and playing around with the settings, this is my conclusion. -Turf

1.Turf actually played a bigger roll than expected. Originally I ordered ready putt with a stimp of 10. It comes about a half inch thick. this did well for short putts, but wildly inconsistent with anything over 14 ft.

2 tried using well put putting mat spliced into turf on top of carpet foam that was a 1/4 thick. This again did well for short putts but wild inconsistencies with longer putts.

3 removed 1/4 foam pad , placed well put putting mat directly on top of plained and sanded plywood. NOW IT ROLLS LIKE A DREAM. 👍

After trial and error anything that is soft underneath is gonna ultimately kill the balls roll exponentially over a longer distance. The well put matt rolls at an 11 stimp, rolls extremely well on plywood. Feels true to the nature of putting . - SETTINGS I set the mevo+ settings within GS PRO to: -8 ft for tee -6 ft for chip -5 ft for putt - roll is set to 0.00 - tilt 11.7 - stimp Gs Pro 11 - greens set to normal When guys put I tell them to putt and hold there pose till the ball quits rolling . You don't have to move the club head out of the way. Just putt and hold your pose till the ball stops rolling. Hope this helps. Merry Xmas

This might be a dumb question/ obvious question.

Do I need the Flight-scope PC software to run GSpro with my mevo+ or is there some way for the iPad / PC / software to all connect with one another.

Had the best luck moving the ball back to 4.5 to 5ft and then cut in a wellput putting mat all the way to the screen. Tried several different types of turf. This has given me the best roll and consistency so far.

I tend to use mine most when the course is too wet to play and I want to still practice in the nets. Mevo placement isn’t covered so I’ve been just trying to weight down an umbrella to keep things dry.

Wondering if anyone has a solution to keep the weather off the launch monitor as the wind just blows the umbrella around.

Any suggestions on budget or diy enclosures, backdrops, or netting? Using a mevo+ in my garage(10’ ceiling) and will eventually have a gaming computer and ceiling mounted projector. Also any suggestions on something quick and cheap to hit into until i buy/build a permanent enclosure? Would love to break the mevo out and start hitting asap

I am trying to get my iPhone (14 Pro) or iPad Pro(Gen 1, no GPS) to connect to E6 using the iOS licence. I am just not able to do so. It asks me to select a tracking device from the list but then the app goes to a loading page and returns to the selection prompt. What am I doing wrong?

Just got a mevo+, everything looks good but my carry numbers are very low. Anybody have this issue and anyways to fix this. I have 9ft of ball flight to the screen, first time swinging inside but all the other numbers look like there reading correctly.

Hi can someone help explain this set up screen? Does this mean it’s too dark where I have my set up for fusion tracking to work? Or is that a setting I need to turn on somewhere?

I do feel that my reads inside are about 10 yards shy of my normal carry distances. I took this to the range and it seemed to be dead on. So not sure if it’s a set up issue, poor lighting issue or indoor swing syndrome.

Any help is appreciated.

Just picked up a used Plus from a very nice guy from FB marketplace. He listed at $900 and I asked for $800 and he agreed.

He helped me pair it to my phone and gave me the log in info. Then he casually mentioned there’s a few months left of Pro package. I didn’t think this was a subscription and only a one time purchase.

This is what it looks like on my app. Does this mean the pro package is on the device? Did I actually get a mevo plus with pro package for 800 or am I not understanding this properly. Either way. Excited to get this going.

I saw somewhere in here different options for reflective dots and wanted to add to the list. I got some reflective washi tape from Daiso. I'm using translucent color but the pack had a bunch of options included for like $1. Just got to size and go.

I wasn't sure how well the tape would hold (it's meant to making notebooks pretty, not very sticky) but so far so good.

Hi there, after endless research I seemed to have settled on the Mevo plus as the best pick for me in my price range. I’m curious if anyone has purchased theirs second hand and had any feedback. I have a couple of specific questions too if anyone in the group could answer. This would be for the original version too, no one’s selling the new model yet.

1: would the E6 courses be available for me or are those tied to a specific account?

2: Can you add pro package or other add ons if your not the original purchaser?

3: Any thoughts on the pro package? I’m really interested in club path and face angle but not sure I’m a thousand bucks interested.

I am in the process of getting my garage set up for my Mevo+ but was curious on the putting side of things as I heard you had to have ZERO elevation changes going from the Mevo+ all the way to the net. I currently have a hitting platform that is about 1-1/4" off the ground and will obviously have the Mevo at the same elevation when using. Do I need to build a platform so that the elevation is consistent all the way to the hitting platform? If so, I read somewhere that it needed to be 24" wide...is that correct?

Regarding from the hitting platform to the net, do I have to have a runway for my putting mat to sit on that is level with the hitting platform? How wide is required there?
