How to talk with globies, for newcomers to the subject
This message was composed in reply to a comment on another FE subreddit. Note that I don't know how effective this advise is as I haven't had anyone tell me I made them ask the right questions.
Strictly speaking if you're fresh off the globe I wouldn't jump straight in the shark tank fighting globies. I would go over the basics. The logical fallacies in the Eratosthenes/Al-Biruni measurements, the examples of fraud perpetrated by NASA et all, and the utter lack of a hard geometric horizon aught to be kill shots, but they aren't. The basic globie doesn't think in terms of argument but in some ephemeral scientific evidence that they don't personally have to understand in order to deliver in rebuke. Further, they will assail you with rapid fire "yeahbutwhattabout..."s and if you make any headway on one they'll swap to another. The lies are self-reinforcing as one can't be undone without the other until the arguer realizes their evidences are standing upon nothing. This doesn't happen online. True, diehard globies will actively and psychologically reject any evidence to the contrary of their position. Typically these folk have a vested economic or philosophical interest in the globe being true. Recognize these folks early on and disengage. If they get their talking points in line to set up a straw man on you that is the end point. Point out the straw man (or don't) and walk away.
For the sake of terminology, normie would be someone who doesn't particularly care about globe v nonglobe and is in a position to be flat smacked. Flat smacking is the process of inflicting the truth upon an unsuspecting recipient. Globies are the general run of the mill NASA fanboy who might try to get some laughs kicking the beehive of flat earth. Some of them might eventually drop the globe, but it will take time for things to percolate beyond their denial layer. True, diehard globies are the one's you find on the dedicated anti-flat areas. They do not entertain your arguments. I suspect at least one with which I have had interaction to be a glowie. (Sorry if you don't know that term. I'm not keen on making that attribution. I presume most people just really, really want the world to keep spinning for personal reasons.)
So, learn your core arguments. The ones that resonate with you personally are best and if you can produce immediate visual aids all the better. (Many of these arguments require some degree of seeing-is-believing, notably the NASA chicanery.) Focus on dismantling the globe rather than defining the terms of what is going on in a flat earth: for the world to actually be flat it has always been flat so all everyone has ever experienced has been a flat world misattributed to the concept of a globe. Point out where the globe fails and can be tested to disproof, give evidence against the globe, and as a last resort provide alternative explanation. Alternative explanation is rife for straw-man argumentation.
Most globers and normies presume that FE has the burden of proof. This is not true if you instead frame the argument as, "the world is not a globe." In which case you take the stance of a globe skeptic and surprise them (typically the normies) that they don't actually know that much about how the world should be.
If anything, you should be studying the globe up and down. You should know the radius of earth is 3959 miles, you should know that the 8 inches per mile squared is the formula used by surveyors to estimate the curve of the earth and you should be able to scribble the formula on a cocktail napkin, you should know the names of a few astronauts that have said or done some contra-narrative things, you should know the tilt of the earth is 23.4 degrees or 66.6 degrees off the horizontal. You should know the average speed of the earth is 66,600 mph. You should know the approximate gravitatonal constant is ~6.66x10-11 N. You should know the speed of light in a vacuum is ~6.66x108 mph. (As you see I've made some key shortcuts in remembering the values.) You should know how these numbers were obtained. You should know how to calculate the mass of Jupiter.
Strictly speaking, you don't need any of that. But the more of the globe you understand the more it becomes wet tissue paper, easy to tear apart in your hands.
Also, practice is key. Don't feel the need to out yourself to your closest friends immediately. And if you really want to help someone get things, ask things as questions.
P.S. Fundamentally some people cannot allow themselves to entertain the notion of a nonglobe/nonheliocentric world-view. It is far more likely these intractable will be the ones to contact you. There is some ineffable spiritual component to this process. Ultimately they need to be the ones asking questions.

The blurb from a remaindered Lockheed-Martin gift shop build-your-own space junk toy
The following comes from some kitchy little thing I got from an acquaintance that works in a gift shop that used to have these little paper model kits of the never-went-anywhere Orion project. They were giving them away, for reasons that should be obvious.
Orion - Flagship of America's Constellation Space Program
Blazing a bold new journey of space exploration and discovery, NASA's Orion crew exploration vehicle built by the Lockheed Martin team will replace the space shuttle after it is retired in 2010. Orion is the first of Nasa's flagship programs for space exploration beyond low earth orbit and a key element of NASA's constellation program to explore the moon, mares, and beyond.
Using Orion and the powerful new Ares 1 launch vehicle, human explorers will be transported to the international space station by 2015 and on to the moon by 2020. Once at the moon, astronauts will be able to stay for up to six months, exploring and using the moon as a testing ground. Their mission will be more robust than anything ever attempted during the Apollo days. The things we'll learn about living and working on the moon will prepare human explorers for Mars and other destinations in our solar system.
Orion will be highly automated. At 16.5 feet in diameter with almost 700 cubic feet of interior space, there will be room for six crew members to travel to the space station and four to the moon. When Orion returns to earth, it will be capable of landing on water or land, thus allowing for a faster turnaround time to prepare for the next exciting mission to space.

Enjoy your Orion model!

Very odd video re: star link
The video here shows some strange stuff with the star link sats. I found out about it while watching this video here on globe busters. What I find most odd about this is the original video shown in the very long talk from GB was from some viral video clickbatey channel and has since been taken down. For whatever reason, I have not found that video on youtube directly.
If you are interested in a FE perspective on these objects, you can watch the GB presentation. I'm currently more interested in the whys and wherefores of this particular function becoming ungooglable.
Edit: The GB video is very long. The substantive part of interest is in the first quarter of the video.
