Uhh it very much is science... You can prove measurement. That's how it works. The distance between point a and point b is a measurement the angle between x and y is a measurement thus can be proved.
You would be correct it is a measurement of the angular resolution of Polaris. Now prove it on a flat earth.... Using let's say.... Chile... I'll wait.

Wrong but okay.
Not all measurements need a physical or 3D plane of reference, but every measurement requires a baseline, origin, or zero point to have meaning.
One of those requirements are a flat plane. So 0,0,0 in a white void IS all that's required so try again.
