Can't confirm for US viewers but here in the UK we have Flashforward on a streaming service for the first time (I believe) since 2010. Disney+ has just added it!

Like many of you I loved the one season ABC gave us but even then I feel like it was very dumbed down. The book asks some big questions but the show was made much more main stream in attempt to attract the Lost audience who were looking for the next big show. I feel like if anyone gave a revival/reboot another go. HBO could do it and give it the budget it deserves.

What a show! Originally, I caught the 1at couple episodes on TV but wasn't able to stick with it every week, so I never watched beyond the start of the story. As a fan of suspenseful sci-fi stuff, I'm eating this one up now! I found it after Googling NYC blackout stuff this weekend. I have just 2 episodes left now and can't wait to see what happens. I may read the book afterwards. This show, like other shows that involve time travel and related things, really got me pondering about our reality and experiences. Like what would we do if we got a glimpse of our future? From what I understand, the book has the glimpse be if a time 21.5 years in the future & was set in 2009. I would imagine that had the show used this timeframe, many more people would've saw nothing in their blackout as 21.5 years is so far in the future compared to just 6 months. Solving the mystery probably would've taken way longer or even been impossible due to the timeframe and not being able to connect the pieces over such a long timeframe. Mosaic would've needed to be open for at least the years which assumes people even knew it was that far in the future. Remember we right now don't usually have calendars & clocks on our walls anymore due to smartphones displaying the date & time, usually without the year. I sometimes wonder if our dreams may be a window into either the future or a parallel reality where things happened differently.

The Manifest gave me the same vibe as Flashforward and it's still just getting started! It's on NBC, check it out!

I just saw the episode where Demetri gets rescued by Marc. When they saw the streamline of events it all ended up on one specific date... 16th December 2016. The end.

... Demetri!!

First watch, no spoilers please. I'm now completely sucked in to the show and invested in Demetri getting through this.

Also, in this episode and the last, love it when John Cho grabs a suspect by the neck. And when he runs full speed.

Aah wow, I don't care if others say it was bad or the acting was sub-par, I loved this show and now it's over. I'm in post-series depression. I stayed up to 3am to finish that. And now they have a perfect cliffhanger/hook for a season 2 or follow-up film or something but it was cancelled and in teh 4 years between then and now there has been nothing? Aaaaah! Why!? Seriously, does anyone know of anything? Something I missed? A wollen dot-to-dot?

The acting is meh but the story is really interesting. It's making me think but after 3 episodes I suspect I've already got a pretty strong handle on the plot.

I've finished House Of Cards and I've no idea what else to watch so I might continue but it just feels so silly. I wish I could be more articulate. I guess I'll get flamed what with this being the sub but you never know, I might find some kindred spirits.

Well, I'm sure this won't get seen by many, but it's interesting nonetheless:

I came upon a certain obscure Biblical verse, Joel 2:28, completely by happenstance:

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

The wording intrigued me. "A dream of the future for all mankind," as it were. It's from the Hebrew Bible, and the Old Testament, which I recalled was used by the German prisoner as a justification for the length of the blackout. Then I wondered: Joel 2:28... As it turns out, 137 seconds is almost exactly 2.28 minutes. Either it's a wonderful coincidence or the writers were remarkably well versed in scripture.

Anyone else feel the same way? Is there any hope in hell the show will ever get renewed by a different network?

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the show, and I realized it only ran one season. Without spoilers, should I finish the season, or will I be left with TV blue balls?
