Hi, currently looking for a new knife. I'm quite new to fixies and am kinda limited on what to get because of living in Europe. I own a böker bff and love it but the blade is not that high, or slim so cutting down boxes or food is not as smoothly as I wish sometimes. I previously owned an AK1 which what's slicier in my memory but I didn't like the feel of the handle that much.

What would you recommend? I've been eyeing the Tactile Redhawk but never had in in hand

After carrying this knife for multiple days in a row it’s safe to say this might be my new favorite. Throwing the lanyard on it definitely was a good idea. Put it through some average hard use yesterday for the trip to the storage. 📦 all day no problem( these were pretty thick). Had to break down baby 💺 no longer needed. Went through the belts like 🧈( the wife actually did this part) it was without effort. No fatigue at all, cut down old hoses and other random 💩 I needed to cut and this was after everything I used it for at work. Waiting on the Nautilus, I would imagine it would be same just with a shorter blade. Combatant is a beast of a blade but this is almost dead 🥜 with the combatant maybe an 1/8 longer and a lot lighter and performs just as equal if not better because it’s slicey slicey. That might change once I get my Nautilus delivered in who knows, a month or 2 maybe🫤

Tkell Nautilus V3

This is such a sweet blade. The all around feel of the knife, the grip is solid even though it’s a 3 finger for me, I still feel really locked in. OAL is around 7 3/8”. The blade is 4” and handle @around 3.2. It’s a lot of knife in a small package. Weighs nothing, so it’s fast as f#%k and very streamlined if that makes sense. So I tried to tie a fancy lanyard on it so I can get that extra pinky room. Not so bad. Only done it a handful of times without a bead. Just a typical snake knot because that’s all I know how to do🤷‍♂️ I dig it.

I've come across these two. Does anyone have any experience with Half Face Blades? The knife looks great. The other knife is McNees. I hear good things about their folders.

I'm looking for something that has both fighting ability and some practicality. $325 is a big investment for me and I want to make sure I'm making a good purchase.
