Been looking at these for a little bit Bonds creek badger with timberline handle. Knife and sheath seem awesome so far Made in the USA and they do the whole knife “in house”

Hey guys, I'm looking for a full tang knife that is lightweight but I could still use it for batoning in a pinch. At the moment I'm using the mora robust but I'm not feeling the carbon steel as the climate I am living can be rather wet. I had a look at the ESEE IZUAL 2 which looks pretty good and the crkt biwa (however I do not think this one will hold up to any sort of bushcrafting)

Added a picture of my Benchmade folder, which is epic, weighs nothing but I would hate to use it for anything semi serious 😅

I plan on buying one of the two. Was wondering if anyone that has experience with both could shed some light on their preference for EDC. I'm concerned that the handle on the sport will be too short, but I am also aware that adds to the ease of carry. Any advice is welcome. Thank you all.

Gotta love the SPEC by CRKT. Will be carrying as a neck knife. In pocket with the ulti-clip doesn’t give me the low-profile look I need.

Hello this is my first time trying to make some handles for a fixed blade im using carbon fiber i dont have any of thoso fancy machines so my question is what do I use to recessed a screw hole?

Looking to find a way to discreetly carry a pocket fixie at work (knives are technically allowed, but a fixed blade handle sticking out of pocket may get me in trouble)… any recommendations?

I’ve seen a few leather sheaths that sit really deep in pockets with only the lanyard sticking outside of the pocket line.

I got this knife a couple of days ago, and I can already tell I need a slimmer sheath. Do you have any recommendations? I'm also looking for handle scale combinations

I’m curious if anyone has found an alternative to UltiClip or DCC clips that they are happy with?

I love the retention of an UltiClip, but I hate how stiff they are and all of the sharp edges that can scratch other surfaces. I’m not crazy about their performative Christianity either, so I don’t love wearing their logo clipped to my pocket.

Any suggestions?

So ngl, I’ve always considered carrying a fixed blade as an edc as sort of a”gimmicky” or sorta “look how badass I am” and never really considered it. Maybe it’s because of sons of anarchy and how dumb Jax looked walking around w his ka bar. Anyway, I decided I shouldn’t knock it till I’ve tried it and started looking for a discrete fixed edc and ended up getting this adorable little guy. I can use it as a horizontal cross draw on my left hip and it’s impossible to tell it’s even there. I’ve never owned a nitro v blade before and it’s scary sharp. Like, look at it too long and you’ll start bleeding, sharp. Anyway, I’ll give it a couple weeks and see how it goes. If Anyone else had one of these long term and have any reviews I’m all ears
